Arrests:

6:00pm       Unit Blk Santa Marina          D.U.I.
Officer Campos was dispatched to a report of a suspect passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle, blocking traffic in an intersection.  Sgt. Riskin also responded, and arrived first on scene.  The sergeant attempted to make contact with the driver.  After several minutes, Sgt. Riskin broadcasted that the suspect awoke and subsequently sped off.  The suspect hit two vehicles while fleeing the area before crashing into a house.  Several other officers responded to the scene and detained the suspect.  The suspect had obvious signs of being under the influence of alcohol, such as watery eyes and a smell of alcohol coming from his breath.  The suspect was transported to SFGH to assess possible injuries.  A records check revealed that the suspect was driving with a suspended license.  The suspect was arrested and booked on several charges, including driving while under the influence of alcohol.  Report 120098240

Officers Hauscarriague and Almaguer were dispatched to report of a robbery.  The victim was walking when he was grabbed from behind by a suspect.  The victim struggled to break free, but the suspect had a firm hold on him.  The suspect reached into the victim’s pocket and removed cash that the victim had in his pocket.  The suspect released the victim and kicked him in his back, causing him to fall to the ground.  The suspect fled.  Report 120096476

Officer Jones responded to a report of a prowler.  The victim told the officer that she was sleeping when her dog started barking, which woke her up.  The victim heard loud banging outside of her residence and footsteps outside of the front door.  The victim looked outside but did not see anyone.  The victim went outside and discovered that her front gate was open and her bicycle missing.  The officer recovered a screwdriver from the scene that did not belong to the victim.  Report 120096915
