Arrests:

3:45pm          3300 Blk Mission St     Theft
Officers Naval and Chew responded to a report of a theft.  The suspect was being detained by the witness for shoplifting.  The witness saw the suspect take several bottles of aspirin and other medication off of shelves.  The suspect concealed the items in a bag and attempted to leave the store without paying for them.  The witness approached the suspect and escorted him back into the store and called police.  The suspect was arrested for shoplifting.  Report 120023601

8:48pm          200 Blk Silver Ave        Suspended License
Officers Kerlegan and Peregrina were on patrol when they spotted a silver Toyota without a functioning headlight during nighttime hours.  The officers made a u-turn and pulled behind the vehicle.  The officers noticed that the vehicle also had a taillight that was not functioning.  The officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and advised the driver of the violations.  A records check indicated that the driver had a suspended driver’s license.  The driver was arrested for driving with a suspended license.  Report 120024449

11:00pm       4700 Blk Mission St       Warrant
Officers Jones and Benavidez were dispatched to a report of an intoxicated person harassing people.  The officers arrived and spotted the suspect standing in the middle of a lane on Mission St.  The officers approached the suspect and advised him to get out of the street.  The victim told the officers that the suspect had entered her place of business and taken an ash tray.  The suspect threw the ash tray into the street, causing it to break.  The victim did not wish to press charges.  A records check of the suspect revealed that he had several outstanding warrants relating to alcohol.  The suspect was arrested on the warrants and for being intoxicated while in public.  Report 120024706

12:15am     100 Blk Gladstone            Assault
Officers Hermosura and Contreras were dispatched to a report of an assault.  The victims were asleep when the suspect suddenly appeared in their room.  The suspect pulled the blankets off of the victims and yelled at one of the victims that she had to leave with him.  The victim knew the suspect from a previous brief friendship.  The victims yelled at the suspect to get out of their home.  The suspect began to walk out of the room as the victims followed, yelling for their roommate to call the police.  The suspect kicked the front door of the residence as he was exiting, causing it to hit one of the victims in the head.  The suspect fled on foot.  Report 120021990

2:00am       Mission & Kingston         Vandalism
PSA Zabarte took a report regarding vandalism.  The victim had parked and secured his vehicle.  When he returned, he found numerous scratches on the driver and passenger side doors, and the hood.  Report 120022807

2:15pm       Unit Blk Ocean Ave         Robbery
Officers Padilla and Sullivan responded to a report of a shooting.  Several other Ingleside officers also responded.  The victim stated that she was with her boyfriend in their van when a vehicle approached.  The victim said the suspect driving the vehicle slowed down and stared intently at her boyfriend, as if trying to intimidate him.  The victim said the suspect drove off out of sight.  A short time later, two suspects approached the victim and her boyfriend on foot.  The first suspect approached the victim’s boyfriend and snatched his gold chain from around his neck.  The suspects fled and the victim’s boyfriend chased after them.  One of the suspects turned and started shooting at the victim’s boyfriend.  The victim’s boyfriend ran back to the van and jumped in.  The victim’s boyfriend began to drive after the suspects, but the victim told her boyfriend to let her out of the van.  The victim got out of the van and the victim’s boyfriend proceeded to chase the suspects.  The officers were unable to contact the victim’s boyfriend for further information.  No one was injured in the incident.  Report 120023388

5:56pm      4500 Blk Mission St         Theft
Officers Chew and Naval were dispatched to a report of a theft.  The victim left his jacket on a chair when he left it to the use the restroom.  Upon his return, his jacket was gone.  Report 120023930

7:59pm      700 Blk Lisbon St             Battery
PSA Zabarte took a report regarding a battery.  The victim said that the suspect pushed her causing her to fall backwards.  The victim fell to the floor.  While on the floor, the suspect jumped on top of her.  The fall caused the victim’s leg to swell.  The victim went to the Dr. and received treatment for her injury prior to coming to the police department.  Report 120023093

8:01pm     Unit Blk Garrison St         Vandalism
Officers Lustenberger and Campos responded to a report of vandalism.  The victim was in her home when she heard a loud crash.  She discovered that a suspect had broken the front door to her residence.  Report 120024314

8:58pm     Mission & Geneva             Vandalism
Officers Park and Chang were dispatched to a report of vandalism.  The victim told the officers that she was driving in her vehicle when a suspect appeared out of nowhere and kicked her car.  Two more suspects approached and began kicking her vehicle.  The suspects fled as the victim called the police.  Report 120024455
