Arrests:

4:59pm                 San Jose/Randall          Warrant              
Officer Pedersen was on patrol when he observed a vehicle with tinted windows pass through an intersection on the corner of San Jose and Randall Streets.  He conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver by his California Driver’s License.  A record check revealed the individual to have a no bail warrant.  The suspect was taken into custody and transported to Ingleside station where Officer Pedersen confirmed the warrant.  At the instruction of Sgt. Inocencio the suspect was booked for the no bail warrant.  Report number 110962097  **BEST ARREST OF THE DAY**

0:03am                 Ocean/Alemany             Robbery
Officers McCall and Lozano were dispatched to a robbery that had recently occurred.  They met with the victim who told them that he was walking on Ocean Avenue when three males approached him and asked him for money.  He told the suspects that he did not have any money and all three suspects began punching him in the face.  The victim said he fell to the ground and one of the suspects reached into his pants pocket and took his money.  He said that the suspects then ran away eastbound on Ocean Avenue.  The victim said he did not get a good look at the suspects and could not identify them if he saw them again.  Because the victim had visible injuries an ambulance was summoned and transported him to the hospital for further medical treatment.  The officers provided him with follow up information and took pictures of his injuries which they booked into evidence at Ingleside station.  The officers searched the area for the suspects with negative results.  Report number 110962887

8:00am                 Holly Park Circle          Vandalism
Officer Campos was sent to investigate vandalism to a vehicle.  He met with the victim who stated that she parked and secured her vehicle and when she returned found her front window had been damaged by what appeared to be a BB gun or pellet gun.  Officer Campos observed the damaged window and took pictures of it which he booked into evidence at Ingleside station.  The victim was unable to provide any further suspect information and was provided with follow up information.  Report number 110962031

9:15am                 100 Blk Bemis               Burglary
Officers Blume and Tam responded to investigate a burglary.  They met with the victim who told them that she locked and secured her apartment and when she returned found her front door open and damaged.  The victim said she entered the apartment and noticed several items missing and some items broken.  She advised the apartment manager who had repaired the damage and changed the locks prior to the officers arriving.  The victim was unable to provide any further suspect information and the officers provided her with follow up information.  The officers did not process the scene because the damage to the door had been repaired before they arrived and they found no other sign of forced entry.  Report number 110961908


12:30pm               300 Blk Naples              Burglary
Officer Archilla responded to a burglary.  He met with the victim who stated that he locked and secured his home when he left that morning and when he returned found the front door unlocked and several items missing.  There was no sign of forced entry into the home and the victim was unable to provide any further suspect information.  Officer Archilla was unable to locate any sign of forced entry and determined that the suspect had entered and exited through the front door.  His investigation determined there was no area where latent fingerprints might be retrieved and the scene was therefore not processed.  He provided the victim with follow up information.  Report number 110962473

12:30pm               Florentine/Morse          Theft
A victim responded to Ingleside station and advised PSA Flynn that he parked and secured his vehicle and when he returned found the right-side front passenger window open and various items missing.  His insurance company requested that he file a police report.  PSA Flynn was unable to identify any fingerprints to process the vehicle and provided the victim with follow up information.  Report number 110961811

7:00pm                 200 Blk Seneca             Theft
CPSAs Navarro and Der responded to a theft from a vehicle.  They met with the victim who told them that he parked and secured his vehicle and that evening heard the alarm go off.  He went outside and noticed his window had been smashed and several items were missing.  He was unable to provide any further information to the CPSAs and was provided with follow up information.  The CPSAs were unable to process the vehicle for fingerprints due to the textured surface of the interior of the vehicle.  Report number 110961265

9:40pm                 Santos/Blythdale           Threats
Officers Padilla and Ma were dispatched to a threats call.  The victim advised that she was driving on Santos when a vehicle began following her.  The vehicle drove up alongside her and a female yelled something like she was “going to beat her up.”  The victim stated that was several occupants in the other vehicle so she did not exit her vehicle and continued driving.  The officers were told that the victim knew the suspect but was not afraid or threatened by her.  She wanted the incident documented and was provided with follow up information.  The officers searched the area for the suspect and the vehicle to no avail.  Report number 110962699

11:34pm               200 Blk Richland          Robbery
Officers Benavidez, Jones and several other Ingleside officers responded to the call of a purse snatch.  Dispatch had provided a description of the suspects and officers canvassed the area for them.  The victim was a Spanish speaker and Officer Archilla responded to the scene to assist with the translation.  The victim stated she was walking home when she noticed several males standing in the bus stop area.  She continued walking and believed she felt the males following her.  The victim said she crossed the street and was suddenly approached from behind by one of the suspects who attempted to take her purse from her shoulder.  She refused to let go of her purse and was punched in the mouth.  The victim said she began screaming for help and the suspects covered her mouth and continued pulling at her purse until they ripped the straps off the purse.  The suspects then threw her to the ground and ran toward Richland Avenue
with the victim’s purse.  The officers summoned an ambulance to treat the victim for her injuries and took pictures of the injuries which they booked into evidence at Ingleside station.  The officers contacted MUNI dispatch to obtain any video footage and searched for other possible cameras which might have captured the incident to no avail.  The victim advised that she did not get a good look at the suspects and does not believe she could identify them if she saw them again.  She was provided with follow up information.  Report number 110962796
