Arrests:

1:32am       Mission/Excelsior                   Unlicensed Driver
Officers McCall and Lozano were on patrol when they observed a suspicious vehicle with expired registration travelling on Mission Street.  A record check on the vehicle’s license plate revealed that the vehicle had been reported stolen.  After confirming this with dispatch, the officer’s asked for additional units and affected a traffic stop.  Both occupants in the vehicle were removed from the vehicle and detained.  A record check on the driver revealed he had a suspended license.  The officers ascertained that the vehicle had been reported stolen by a family member of the driver.  The vehicle was towed, and the driver cited and released at the scene at the instruction of Sgt. 10:40am     100 Blk Alemany                    Battery
Sgt. Miller and several other Ingleside units responded to the call of a battery.  The victim advised that as he was attempting to maneuver his vehicle in the parking lot area when he was blocked in by another male driving a large truck.  The other male exited his truck, began yelling at the victim and punched him.  The victim said he was not injured but insisted on signing a citizen’s arrest against the individual.  The suspect was identified by the victim and cited for the battery.  The officers took pictures of the victim’s injuries and booked them into evidence at Ingleside station.  Report Number 111010041

2:50am       100 Blk Moneta                      Robbery
Officers Hermosura and Ma were sent to investigate a robbery.  The victim advised that he was parking his vehicle in his driveway.  As he exited the vehicle, an unknown male approached him, brandished a gun and told him to give him his wallet.  The suspect then searched through the victim’s pockets and removed various items.  The suspect then ran off northbound on Moneta Way.  The victim said he was not injured and refused medical assistance.  He said he could not recognize the suspect if he saw him again because he was wearing a cloth which covered a good portion of his face. The victim was provided with follow up information and the officers searched the area unsuccessfully for the suspect.  Report Number 111011936

6:00am       Unit Blk Persia                      Burglary
Officer Dudley responded to assist Sgt. Lozada regarding a burglary.  The victim advised that she locked and secured the premises and when she returned found a light on and several items missing.  She was unable to find any sign of forced entry to the premises and said that noone else had keys.  The officers were unable to locate any sign of forced entry, and were unable to locate any cameras in the area which may have captured the incident.  The officers took pictures of the scene and advised the victim that SFPD’s Crime Scene Investigation Unit would be responding to process the scene for any evidence.  The officers provided the victim with follow up information and booked the pictures into evidence at Ingleside station.  Report Number 111011704

5:15am       Unit Blk Lisbon                     Robbery
Officer Ma responded to the call of a robbery.  He met with the victim who told him that he had given a male a ride to Lisbon Street and when the male went to exit his vehicle he demanded the victim’s belongings.  The victim refused, and the suspect punched him repeatedly, went through his pockets and removed several items.  The suspect then exited the vehicle and ran down Lisbon Street.  The victim said he was not injured and refused medical assistance.  He said he would be able to recognize the suspect if he saw him again.  Officer Ma processed the vehicle for fingerprints and was able to collect several which he placed onto fingerprint cards and booked into evidence at Ingleside station.  He provided the victim with follow up information.  Several officers searched the area unsuccessfully for the suspect.  Report Number 111009646

9:30am       300 Blk Raymond                  Pickpocket
Officers Larocca and Muro were dispatched to investigate a theft.  They met with the victim who told them that she placed items in her jacket pocket and zipped it up.  She then boarded a MUNI bus and when she exited the bus noticed the zipper on her jacket was open and her items were missing.  The victim said that she did not see or feel anyone reach into her pockets and could provide no further information regarding the suspects.  She stated she had been contacted by her bank who advised that several transactions which she had not authorized had been made with her debit card.  The bank requested that she file a police report.  She was provided with follow up information.  Report Number 111005036

1:20pm       5700 Blk Mission                   Theft
A victim responded to Ingleside station and advised Officer Peregrina that she had left her purse unattended in a cart while at a Laundromat.  When she returned to the cart, she noticed her purse was missing.  She was unable to provide any suspect information and was provided with follow up information.  Report Number 111010546

6:45pm       Dartmouth/Mansell               Robbery
Officers Carrasco and Burke were dispatched to a robbery.  They located a male who was bleeding from the mouth area and determined he was the victim.  They immediately summoned an ambulance to treat him for his injuries.  The victim told them that he was attempting to make a delivery and as he exited his vehicle he was approached by three males.  One of the males was holding a gun and all three of them began punching and kicking him.  The victim said he fell to the ground and the males continued kicking and punching him as they searched through his pockets and removed several items.  The suspects then ran southbound on Dartmouth.  The victim was able to provide a description of the suspects and said he could identify at least one of them.  Several Ingleside units searched the area unsuccessfully for the suspects.  The officers took pictures of the victim’s injuries which they booked into evidence at Ingleside station.  They seized his bloody clothing which was also booked into evidence.  The victim was provided with follow up information and transported to the hospital for further medical treatment.  Report Number 111011061

9:30pm       1400 Blk Dolores                    Burglary
Officer Tam responded to a burglary.  He met with several victims who said they reside in the building and left their bicycles secured in the garage area.  They returned and found the bicycles missing and said there was no sign of forced entry to the garage area.  Officer Tam investigated the general area and found no sign of forced entry or any physical evidence at the scene.  He provided the victims with follow up information.  Report Number 111010869

11:50am     Mission/Richland                    Robbery
Officers McMilton, Burke and Carrasco were sent to investigate a robbery on a MUNI bus.  The victim told them that she was on the bus talking on her phone when two suspects approached her, grabbed her phone and exited the bus.  The victim said she was not injured and would not be able to identify the suspects if she saw them again.  The officers spoke with witnesses in the area who reiterated what the victim told them but also said they would not be able to identify the suspects.  The officers provided the victim with follow up information and searched the area unsuccessfully for the suspects.  They contacted MUNI dispatch and ordered a copy of the video surveillance tape.  Report Number 111011685
