1:40am       Crescent/Anderson                 Robbery
Officers Dominguez and Ma responded to the call of an assault.  They met with the victim who told them that she was walking on Crescent Avenue when she noticed three people walking in her direction.  As the victim attempted to walk by them, one of them grabbed her purse and attempted to yank it from her.  The victim struggled with the suspect and was suddenly punched in the face by another suspect.  The victim let go of her purse and the suspects fled down Crescent Avenue.  A witness who was nearby and saw the incident provided the officers with a description of the suspects.  Several officers canvassed the area for the purse and the suspects to no avail.  Neither the victim nor the suspect said they could identify the suspects. 

The victim complained of pain to her head and facial area and the officers summoned an ambulance to medically evaluate her.  She was transported to the hospital for further treatment.  The officers provided her with follow up information.  They attempted to find video surveillance or cameras in the area to no avail.

5:15am       300 Blk Monterey                   Burglary
Sgt. Miller was dispatched to investigate a burglary.  He met with the victim who stated that he left his bicycle unlocked and unattended in the garage area of the building.  When he returned, the victim found his bicycle missing and stated there was damage to the gate area which enters the home.  The victim did not see anyone take his property and did not believe there were any witnesses.  He advised the owner of the building who was also present and spoke with the officers.  The owner told the officers that he has various cameras around the building and that one of them captured the burglary.  The officers viewed the video which showed the suspect damaging the gate with bolt cutters and entering the building.  The officers requested a copy of the video which the owner of the building agreed to supply them at a later date.  The officers took pictures of the damaged gate and booked them into evidence at Ingleside station.  They provided the victim and the owner of the building with follow up information.  Due to the lack of physical evidence, Sgt. Miller did not have the garage area processed for evidence.  Report Number 110992947

6:30am       Crescent/Murray                    Robbery
Officer Bernard responded to the call of a robbery.  He met with the victim who told him that she was waiting inside the bus shelter for the bus when a male grabbed her purse and tried to pull it off of her.  The victim struggled with the suspect and fell down on the ground.  The suspect then kicked the victim repeatedly and she let go of the purse.  The suspect fled with the victim’s purse and boarded a waiting vehicle which drove off in an unknown direction.  The victim complained of pain to her head and back area and the officers immediately requested an ambulance to treat her.  The victim told Officer Bernard that she would not be able to recognize the suspect if she saw him again, but that the suspect dropped a beanie in the struggle.  Officer Bernard took pictures of the victim’s injuries and confiscated the beanie as evidence.  He booked all evidence at Ingleside station. 

Officer Bernard spoke with several people in the area who came to the victim’s aid.  They provided a vague description of the suspect and the getaway vehicle, but said they could not recognize the suspect if they saw him again.  He provided the victim with follow up information.  Report Number 110992226

8:00am       Unit Blk Rosella                      Burglary
Officers Morse and McMilton were dispatched to a burglary.  They met with the victim who told them that he locked and secured his bedroom door and when his wife returned home she found the bedroom door open and the door frame damaged.  The victim stated that there were several items missing and he gave no one permission to enter his bedroom.  He was unable to provide the officers with any further information.  The officers observed damage to the door frame and took pictures of the damage which they booked into evidence at Ingleside station.  They were unable to locate any other sign of forced entry to the room.  They provided the victim with follow up information.  Because of the lack of physical evidence, the officers did not have the scene processed for evidence.  Report Number 110994802

SFCCPD Officer Wong was sent to investigate a theft.  He met with the victim who told him that he placed his items in a locker and secured it with his padlock.  When he returned to the locker, the padlock and his items were missing.  The victim searched the area and located most of his things but said that various items were missing from his backpack.  He was unable to provide the officer with any further information.  The officer provided him with follow up information.  Report Number 110993713

6:30pm       700 Blk Cortland                    Burglary
Officers Sanchez and Curry were dispatched to a burglary.  The reportee told them that the building was locked and secured the night before.  She said that when one of the workers came to work in the morning he found damage to various doors in the building and found several items missing.  The reportee said that there were no witnesses and could not provide any suspect information.  The officers investigated the area and determined that entry was made by one of the doors leading into the garage area.  They took pictures of the damages and booked them into evidence at Ingleside station.  They provided the reportee with follow up information and advised her that SFPD’s Crime Scene Investigation Unit would be responded to process the scene for evidence.  Report Number 110992997

Officer Preston responded to a burglary.  He met with the victim who said he resides in the building and left his bicycle unsecured in the garage area.  He returned and found the bicycle missing and said there was no sign of forced entry to the garage area.  Officer Preston investigated the general area and found no sign of forced entry or any physical evidence at the scene.  He provided the victim with follow up information.  Report Number 110993854
