Unit Blk Francis St
                 Vandalism
Officer Frisk was dispatched to a report of a person with a knife.  Upon arrival, the officer contacted the suspect, but did not find a knife in her possession.  Officer Morgante arrived on scene to assist and stayed with the suspect while Officer Frisk spoke to the victim.  The victim said that she and the suspect got into a verbal altercation.  The suspect became angry and picked up a knife.  She did not threaten the victim with the knife.  The suspect denied having a knife.  The victim found deep scratches on the screen of her computer monitor and liquid poured onto her bed.  The victim wanted to press charges and signed a citizen’s arrest form for the suspect.  Report 110990032

4:46pm                 Mission & Persia                    Robbery
Officers Peregrina and Campos responded to a report of a robbery.  The victim had been riding the MUNI bus.  The suspect sat behind the victim and poked him in the leg with a gun.  The suspect gestured to the victim to hand over his belongings.  The victim feared for his life so he handed the suspect his wallet and cell phone.  The suspect got off of the bus at Mission and Persia, while the victim stayed on board the bus.  The victim told the bus driver that he had been assaulted, but the driver did not let the victim off of the bus until Mission and Geneva.  The victim got off of the bus and ran all the way back to Mission and Persia, where he contacted an officer.

In the meantime, Sgt. Rainsford contacted a suspect in parking lot that appeared to have been casing vehicles.  The parking lot was located in close proximity to Mission and Persia.  A records check of the suspect revealed that he was on active parole and had an outstanding warrant for robbery.  Several officers retraced the path that the Sgt. had seen the suspect walking and discovered a handgun, similar to the one that the victim had described from the robbery incident.  The victim positively identified the suspect.  The suspect was also in possession of the victim’s cell phone.  The suspect was arrested for the robbery.  ***BEST ARREST OF THE DAY!!!***

                Warrant
Officer Archilla was on patrol when he observed the driver a vehicle talking on his cell phone while driving.  The officer conducted a traffic stop and contacted the driver.  After the driver was advised of the violation, the officer conducted a records check of him.  The driver was wanted on an outstanding warrant and was arrested.  Report 110991610

7:48pm                 4400 Blk Mission St                 D.U.I.
Officers Carrasco and Burke were dispatched to a report of an accident.  Upon arrival, they contacted the suspect who was sitting on the sidewalk next to a vehicle.  The suspect admitted to the officers that he had been in an accident and hit several cars.  The officers smelled alcohol coming from the suspects breath.  At one point, the suspect attempted to stand up, but was so unsteady on his feet that he fell back into a seated position.  Upon further investigation, the officers determined that the suspect was under the influence of alcohol while operating a vehicle and was arrested.  Report 110991701

Officer Archilla and several other officers responded to a well being check of a person who was screaming into the phone.  The officers arrived on scene and found the victim, who was bleeding from his nose.  The victim pointed at two suspects in the area.  The officers detained the suspects pending further investigation.  The victim told the officers that the suspects had approached him and tried to get into his pockets.  When they were unsuccessful, one of the suspects punched the victim in the face repeatedly.  The second suspect held the victim in a bear-like hug grip to prevent him from punching the suspect back.  The suspect continued to punch the victim in the face.  Finally, the victim was able to break free.  The victim positively identified both suspects as those who were involved in the incident, and they were both arrested.  Report 110991842

Officers Dominguez and Benavidez were on patrol when the pulled behind a vehicle.  The officers conducted a routine records check of the vehicle and discovered that it was reported as being stolen.  The officers conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle and gave commands to the driver and passenger to exit the vehicle.  They were both taken into custody pending further investigation.  The officers discovered that the driver had been driving with a suspended license in addition to driving a suspended license.  Both the driver and passenger were booked.  Report 110990991

Sgt. Miller responded to a report of a suspect with a tire iron vandalizing vehicles.  Sgt. Miller met with a witness who saw the suspect standing next to a car and a tire iron on the ground directly next to him.  The suspect told the witness that it was his car that he was standing next to.  The suspect got into the passenger side of another vehicle, and the vehicle fled.  Report 110990060

PSA Zabarte took a report regarding theft from a vehicle.  The victim said that he parked and locked his vehicle, it was in good condition.  Upon his return, the victim found that the passenger side window was smashed and the items inside had been rummaged through.  Report 110990123

CPSA’s Reynolds and Lee were dispatched to a report of a theft.  An unknown suspect had taken the catalytic converter from the victim’s truck.  Report 110990769

                      Battery
Officer Frisk was dispatched to a report of a suspect threatening a victim with a knife.  The victim and the suspect had gotten into a physical altercation.  The suspect swung at the victim, but the victim blocked the blow with his arm.  A witness stepped in between the victim and suspect to stop them from fighting.  The suspect fled the premise.  Report 110990753

CPSA’s Lee and Reynolds responded to a report of a burglary.  The premise had been broken into by an unknown suspect who had broken off the padlock to the door.  Several items were taken from inside.  Report 110991002
