SFCCPD Officer Hadi was on foot patrol when he spotted a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed.  The driver was also talking on her cell phone.  The officer altered other officers in the area of the vehicle’s violation.  SFCCPD Officers Smith and Edwards were traveling in a marked patrol vehicle when this information was provided to them by Officer Hadi.  The officers spotted the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.  A records check revealed that the driver was wanted on an outstanding warrant for driving on a suspended license.  The driver was arrested for the warrant and cited for several vehicle violations.  Report 111004696

4:25pm                 3200 Blk Diamond Heights     Theft
Officers Almaguer and Hauscarriague were dispatched to a report of theft.  A witness told the officers that she observed a suspect take a can of beer and conceal it in his jacket sleeve.  The suspect then left the store, walking past the cash registers, making no attempt to pay for the beer.  The witness followed the suspect and attempted to detain him.  The suspect fled, dropping the beer and his cell phone.  The witness collected the items and went back to work.  The suspect returned to the store about 10 minutes later looking for his cell phone.  Loss prevention detained the suspect and called police.  The suspect was cited for petty theft by the officers and released from the scene.  Report 111005694

Officers Almaguer, Park and Chang were dispatched to a report of an assault.  The victim was speaking with the suspect when the suspect suddenly became angry.  The suspect hit the victim in the head with a glass.  Witnesses grabbed the suspect and escorted him out of the premise.  The suspect fled.  The victim suffered from a cut to his forehead and was transported to the hospital for treatment.  Report 1110067961

Sgt. Turner and Officer Ma responded to a report of a battery. The victim was a patron at a bar when a fight broke out.  The victim was struck by a bottle on the side of her face.  The victim was not injured.  After she was struck, the victim realized that she was missing an earring, and could not locate it.  Report 111006965

Officer Giannini took a report regarding theft.  The victim has had an ongoing feud with the suspect.  The victim looked outside and saw the suspect take a board from the front of his house and walk away with it.  Report 111004179

Officer Coles responded to a report of vandalism.  The victim had been having problems with the suspect for months.  On this day, the victim heard the suspect yelling out in front of his residence.  The suspect walked over to the victim’s motorcycle and pushed it over.  The suspect then got into a vehicle and fled.  The motorcycle had several scratches from being pushed over.  Report 110004157

CPSA Der was dispatched to a report of theft.  The victim had her purse behind the counter, in plain sight of customers.  A suspect went behind the counter and took the victim’s wallet out of her purse.  The suspects fled the business.  Report 111004618

6:10pm                 700 Blk Monterey Blvd            Theft
Officer Trujillo responded to a report of theft.  The victim had her purse in a room within the business.  Two suspects entered the store.  One suspect asked to use the restroom, and was escorted to the back of the store where the restroom was located.  It should be noted that the room where the victim had put her purse was right next to the restroom.  The suspect was left alone to wait because someone else was using the restroom.  About a minute later, the suspect emerged and both suspects abruptly left the store.  The victim later realized that her wallet had been taken from her purse.  Report 111001874

Officers Chang and Park responded to a report of theft.  The victim works at the front counter of a restaurant.  The victim uses an iPod to confirm reservations of guests.  The victim was helping two patrons when four suspects entered the business.  The victim led the patrons to a table.  When she returned to the front counter, she realized the four suspects were gone, along with the iPod.  The victim saw the suspect fleeing down the street.  Report 111006078

Officers Park and Chang were dispatched to a report of theft from a vehicle.  The victim had parked her vehicle and secured it.  The victim had left her briefcase on the front passenger seat of the vehicle.  The victim later returned to her vehicle and discovered that the passenger side window had been smashed and her briefcase stolen.  Report 111006131
