12:25am 400 Blk London St Warrant
Officers Contreras and Hermosura were dispatched to a report of a fight involving several people. Dispatch provided a description of the possible suspects. The officers made contact with a group that matched the description from dispatch. A records check revealed that one of the suspects was wanted on an outstanding warrant. The suspect was arrested. 4:57pm 500 Monterey Blvd Theft
Officers Cassinelli and Hom responded to a report of a theft. The victim usually brings her laptop to work and leaves it on a side counter. During this incident, the victim left her workplace to go do some laundry, leaving her laptop behind. As she went to walk back to her work, she saw three suspects run out of her workplace. One of them was carrying what looked to be her laptop. Several officers also responded to the scene. Sgt. Riskin located three suspects that matched the description provided by the victim. One of the suspects had a laptop computer tucked in his waistband. All three suspects were positively identified by several different witnesses and were arrested. Report 111002844

12:35am Leland & Alpha St Assault
Officers Apodaca and Gabriel responded to SFGH regarding a victim of an assault. The victim had been walking when he was approached by two suspects. One of the suspects asked the victim for a cigarette. The victim reached inside of his pocket to retrieve a cigarette when the suspect pulled out a pair of scissors. The suspect slashed the victim in the chest with the scissors. Both suspects fled. The victim walked home and had a family member drive him to the hospital. Report 111003836
1:50am Unit Blk Gladstone Dr Vandalism
Officer Hermosura responded to a report of vandalism. The victim got into an argument with the suspect. The suspect picked up a fire distinguisher and smashed one of the windows on the victim’s vehicle. The suspect fled. Report 111003814
8:00am 200 Blk Fairmount St Burglary
Officers Sugitan and Fung were dispatched to a report of a burglary. An unknown suspect had pried the door to the victim’s office and gained entry. The victim’s laptop was stolen. Report 111002565
12:30pm Alemany & Onondaga St Theft
PSA Heckenberg-Tognozzi took a report regarding theft from a vehicle. The victim returned to her vehicle and discovered that one of the vehicle’s windows was smashed. Several items were taken from the vehicle. Report 110999040
2:02pm 500 Blk Monterey Blvd Theft
Officer Hom responded to a report of theft. The victim was working when the suspect came into the business. The suspect asked the victim for water. The victim told the suspect they had bottled water. The suspect looked at the victim and then left the business. The victim then discovered that money was missing from the cash register. The same suspect was later arrested for stealing a laptop from the same business (see case above). Report 111003030
2:28pm Unit Blk Phelan Ave Theft
SFCCDPD Officer Bermudez took a report regarding theft. The victim had secured his belongings into a locker using a combination lock. When he returned to his locker, he found all of his belongings on the floor of the locker room. The suspect had stolen a textbook belonging to the victim. Report 111002418
3:00pm 100 Blk Valdez Ave Personation
PSA Heckenberg-Tognozzi took a report regarding false personation. The victim received a credit card bill in the mail for over $7,000. A couple of weeks later, the victim received two more credit card bills from two different companies. The victim had not authorized any of the purchases that he was being charged for. The victim said that his wallet had been stolen in May of this year and that is probably how the suspect got his credit card information. Report 111001896
5:36pm 3100 Blk Mission St Harassment
Officers Khan and Dilag were dispatched to a report regarding harassing phone calls. The victim has received several phone calls and text messages from a suspect regarding a case she’s working on. The victim did not feel threatened. Report 111002963
7:00pm 1600 Blk Plymouth Ave Burglary
Officer Lundy responded to a report of a burglary. The victim returned home and found that his front door was open. The victim told the officer that he had secured his front door when he left the residence. The victim also discovered that the latch on his bathroom window was broken.
