Officers McMilton and Morse were dispatched to check on the well-being of a man. The officers located the subject who was bleeding from his mouth and appeared to be a victim of a battery. The victim had swelling to his mouth and had blood on his face. The victim appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. The victim told the officers that someone had punched him, but was unable to provide them with any other information. Report 110947005
1:03pm 100 Blk Blythdale Ave Burglary
Officers Obot and Johnson responded to a report of a burglary. The victim left her premise and locked and secured the door. Upon her return, the victim found that her door was closed, but unlocked. The victim discovered several items in her home damaged, including a television and several sweaters that had slashes cut into them. Report 110947895
3:00pm Unit Blk Gaviota Way Burglary
Officer Goldsborough was dispatched to a report of a burglary. The victim told the officer that he locked the door to his residence upon leaving the previous day. Upon his return, the victim found the security gate of the residence had been breached and the front door of the residence kicked in. Several items had been stolen from inside the residence. 10:55pm 5700 Blk Mission St Battery
Officer Archilla responded to a report of a battery. The victim was working the front counter of his business when the suspect entered the premise. The victim recognized the suspect as a previous customer. The suspect began yelling profanities at the victim. The victim came out from behind the counter and attempted to escort the suspect out of the store. The suspect punched the victim twice in the face. The victim told the officer that he believed the suspect was under the influence of alcohol. The suspect fled the scene. There was a surveillance camera that recorded the incident. Report 110949192
