Officers McCall and Lozano were on patrol when they spotted a vehicle traveling with no headlights on in darkness. The officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. Upon approach, the officers smelled a strong odor that they suspected to be marijuana coming from the passenger side of the vehicle. The passenger admitted to having marijuana in his pocket. The officers seized the suspected marijuana and cited the passenger for possession. Report 110945413

Officer Coles took a report regarding attempted theft from a vehicle. The victim returned to her vehicle and discovered that the front passenger window had been smashed. The glove compartment was open and the contents strewn about the vehicle. Nothing appeared to have been taken. Report 110945968
9:00am Unit Blk Tingley St Vandalism
Officer Pedersen responded to a report of theft from a vehicle. The officer immediately noticed several scratches to the vehicle’s driver side. The victim said that when she had parked the vehicle, the scratches were no there. When she returned to the vehicle, she found scratches all over the vehicle and the side view mirror was damaged. There did not appear to be any signs of entry into the vehicle, and no items were missing. Report 110946239
