Arrests:

10:10am             300 Blk Murray           Battery
Officers Frisk and Turner were dispatched to a call of an individual having been shot with a BB gun.  They spoke with the victim who stated that she was at the playground when she was shot by a BB gun.  She stated she saw several males in the area and gave a description of them.  The officers dispatched the description of the suspects and various officers responded to the area for assistance.  The officers spoke with a worker who witnessed the incident and was willing to sign a citizen’s arrest against the individual who he witnessed shoot the BB gun.  A few minutes later Officer Villaruel advised that he had a few males detained who fit the description of the suspects.  The victim and witness were transported to the area where the individual was detained where they both made a positive identification of the male who had shot the BB gun.  The victim also signed a citizen’s arrest and the suspect was cited for the battery.  Report 110791589

5:30am               700 Blk Madrid           Burglary
Officers Hermosura and Jones responded to a possible burglary in progress.  They met with the victim who stated he and his wife were asleep when they woke up to the garage door closing.  The victim looked out of the window and saw a suspect riding away on his hybrid bicycle.  The victim said he did not get a good look at the suspect and could not identify him.  The victim looked inside his vehicle which was outside and told the officers the remote was missing which is how he believed the suspect made entry into the home.  The officers could find no sign of any forced entry into the premises.  The victim told the officers he did not believe anything else was missing from the home.  The officers gave the victim follow up information and various CPSAs responded to process the vehicle for any fingerprint evidence.  Report 110793858

3:20pm               5800 Blk Mission St  Theft
Officers Morrow and Naval responded to a theft.  They spoke with victim who stated that he was exiting the MUNI bus at Sickles and Mission when someone grabbed him from behind and yanked his necklace off of his neck.  The suspect then pretended to have a weapon in his pocket and the victim stood still.  The suspect ran away down Mission Street.  The victim said that he could possibly recognize the suspect.  A witness approached the officers and said that he witnessed the incident and could identify the suspect as well.  The officers canvassed the area in search of the suspect to no avail.  The victim was not injured and refused medical assistance.  Report 110794969

4:00pm               500 Blk Cortland        Theft
Officers Khan was working at Ingleside station when a victim came to report a theft.  She told him that she was at a playground and left her backpack unattended for a few minutes.  When she returned she noticed her backpack was open and that several items were missing.  She was unable to provide any suspect information and said there were no witnesses to the theft.  Report.110792963

5:00pm               3000 Blk Castro          Att. Arson
Officers Turner and Sanchez responded to investigate a possible arson. The victim advised that he noticed a hold in the vinyl side of his home and suspected someone had melted the siding.  The victim stated that nothing caught fire and he could not provide any information on who might have damaged his home.  The officers took pictures of the damage and contacted various neighbors to see if they may have witnessed anything.  They were unsuccessful in obtaining further information and booked the pictures into evidence at Ingleside station.  Report 110794345

5:18pm               5100 Blk Mission       Agg. Assault
Officer Abucay was dispatched to the call of an assault.  Various other Ingleside units responded to assist him.  He met with victim and her friend who stated that they ordered some food at the establishment and sat down to wait for their order.  They told the officer that suddenly another customer stood up and began screaming.  The clerk called the police and the woman began throwing various things around the room.  One of the chairs the suspect threw hit victim in the facial area.  The suspect then ran out of the restaurant.  An ambulance was summoned to attend to the victim who had a bruise on her face and she was transported to the hospital.  Various units searched the area for the suspect but were unsuccessful in their attempts.  The officers ordered a copy of the video surveillance and took pictures of the victim’s injury which they booked into evidence at Ingleside station.  Report 110795321

6:30pm               900 Blk Girard            Burglary
Officers Trujillo and Hui were dispatched to a burglary.  They met with the victim who advised that she locked and secured her home and when she returned found the front and rear doors and gates of the home had been damaged and forced entry made inside.  The security bars on the window downstairs had also been removed.  The victim said that various items were missing from the home.  The officers provided the victim with follow up information and advised that the SFPD Crime Scene Investigative unit would be responding to process the scene.  The officers took pictures of the damages and booked them into evidence at Ingleside station.  Report 110792151

7:00pm               400 Blk Yerba Buena   Burglary
CPSAs Navarro and Der were dispatched to a burglary.  The victim stated that when she went outside this morning she noticed her garage door was open.  The victim said that she then noticed that her vehicle door was open and the vehicle had been ransacked.  The other tenant in the home stated that he closed the garage door and secured it the evening before.  Both reportees were uncertain if entry had been made into the home.  Officer Najarro responded and cleared the home for any possible suspects who may have been inside.  The CPSAs processed the vehicle for any fingerprint evidence and took pictures of the scene which they booked into evidence at Ingleside station.  Report 110794254

Officer Shugars and Paras responded to a vandalism.  The victim advised that she left her home intact and when she returned found her front window had been sprayed with graffiti.  She was unable to provide any further information.  The officers took pictures of the damage and booked them into evidence at Ingleside station.  Report 110795224
