Arrests:

1:07pm      Geneva/Alemany                 Battery
Officers Kneuker responded to the call of a battery.  They spoke with complainant, a taxi driver, who said that he had picked up a fare and when they arrived at the location both suspects attempted to exit the vehicle without paying.  The victim called the police as he followed the suspects and one of the suspects punched him in the face repeatedly.  The officers arrived and detained the suspect.  Victim signed a citizen’s arrest and the suspect was cited for the battery.  Report Number 110624275

1:15pm      1100 Blk Bernal Hts            Trespassing
Officer Curry responded to the call of a trespasser.  Reportee stated that there were trespassers near the site of the hill which was city property.  Officer Curry located the trespassers but a few fled the area in an automobile before he was able to encounter them.  He was, however, able to detain two of the trespassers.  Additional officers located an area where the fence entering the area had been damaged.  The complainant signed a citizen’s arrest form and both suspects were cited for the trespassing.  Report Number 110625273

6:13pm      5100 Blk Mission                 Battery
Officers Chang and Park responded to a fraud at a local bank.  Complainant advised that suspect was attempting to pass counterfeit currency and became agitated causing a verbal altercation with the bank workers.  The officers attempted to speak with the suspects who were uncooperative.  The main suspect was taken into custody and become combative with the officers.  The officers were forced to call for a police wagon to transport the suspect. He was booked at Ingleside station for the counterfeit currency and resisting arrest.  Report Number 110626099

06:00am    100 Blk Tiffany                     Burglary
Officers Busalacchi and Giannini responded to the call of a burglary.  Complainant advised that the building had been secured the evening before and when she returned this morning found an access point which leads into the building had been ripped from the wall and the chord cut.  The officers took pictures of the damage to the building and complainant advised she was unsure if there was any loss at this time.  Report Number 110624996

7:00am      1100 Blk Delano                  Fraud
Victim came to Ingleside station to report a fraud.  He told Officer Lee that a Master Card account had been opened in his name without his authorization.  The company required he file a police report so that he could document the incident and close the account.  He was unable to provide any further information.  Report Number 110624974

11:40am    100 Blk Ankeny                   Robbery
Officers Turner and Sgt. Escobar responded to the call of a purse snatch.  Victim advised that who stated she was walking down the street when a male approached her from behind, grabbed her purse and said, “Give me your purse.”  Victim yelled for help as suspect took her purse and fled down Ankeny Street.  Several officers canvassed the neighborhood after being provided the suspect description but were unable to locate him.  Victim stated she was not injured but believed she could recognize the suspect if she saw him again.  Report number 110624946

5:50am      4800 Blk Mission                 Theft
Officers Wong and Fung responded to a theft.  Reportee advised that when he arrived at work this morning he noticed display cases opened and several items missing.  He provided a surveillance video of the prior date wherein it appeared that several suspects were browsing and reaching into the cases.  Victim stated none of the employees from yesterday’s date were present and officers were unable to contact them.  Officers requested a copy of the video and gave victim follow up information.  Report Number 110628885

Officers Pederson and Jones were dispatched to a burglary.  The victim advised that he left and secured his home and when he returned found the entrance gate and his front door open.  The complainant said he was unsure if anything was missing and did not give permission for anyone to enter his home.  Report Number 110626920

Victim responded to Ingleside station to report a fraud.  She told Officer Frazier that several transactions had been made on her bank account which she did not authorize.  She was unable to provide any further information.  Report Number 110626710
