1:30 am Mission/Highland Robbery
Officers Lundy and Holmes were sent to investigate a fight incident. The officers arrived and observed a group of subjects (3) that reacted by hiding, when they saw us in uniform. The three were detained by other Ingleside Officers that arrived as backup at the scene. The victim walked up to us and told us that the three subjects we had detained were the same suspects that had robbed her on the bus. The victim also pointed out that a 4th suspect was at the corner and not detained. Officers Polovina and Pedersen were able to detain all 4 suspects. The victim told the investigating officers that she was on the bus when one of the female suspects yelled out at the victim that she was a snitch and needed to be robbed. A male suspect grabbed the victims’ purse and removed $10.00 while she watched and was surrounded by the other suspects. The victim told the investigating officers that at this point in the robbery the suspects began to beat her and eventually forced her off the bus. The suspects stayed on the bus. The victim called the police. The victim identified all of the suspects at the scene, and the officers located the victims’ purse when one of the suspects had hidden herself. The suspects were also identified as suspects in another similar robbery. The suspects were arrested and booked for the robbery. The quick response from Ingleside officers resulted in the arrest of career criminals that had at least two other such robberies. Report number 110538165. 6:56 am 2600 blk Bayshore Burglary
Officer Antonian responded to investigate a burglary incident. The victim in this case told the investigating officer that he had placed $286 in a cabinet in his office and left work. The victim told the investigating officer that he got a call from an employee telling him that the money was gone. The victim showed the investigating officer the video in his office and saw an unknown suspect come in and remove the money then leave. A copy of the video was given as evidence for the officer to book. Report number 110540386
12:00 pm Unit blk Arco Theft /Building
Officers Park and Chang were sent to investigate a theft from a building incident. The officers interviewed the victim and learned that she was getting dressed and noticed that he favorite sweater was missing. The victim told the investigating officers that she then checked art that she had received as a gift and they were missing from under her bed too. The investigating officers determined that there was no forced entry nor any physical evidence there for CSI was not notified. Report number 110540784
3:00 pm Edinburgh/Brazil Battery
Officer Sullivan prepared a report regarding a battery incident. The victim told the investigating officer that there has been an ongoing dispute regarding a property. The victim said that it got to the point at this incident that the suspect grabbed the victim by a strap on the backpack and dragged her from the residence. The victim did not need medical assistance. Both parties were advised to seek legal advice. Report number 110539759
4:00 pm Unit blk Burlwood Theft from Auto
Officers Park and Chang were sent to investigate a theft from an auto. The victim told the Investigating officers that she left her vehicle unlocked and that an unknown suspect took all her property. Report number 110540267
4:00 pm Unit blk Brookdale Burglary
Officer Antonian prepared a report regarding a burglary. The victim told the investigating officer that she had been gone over the weekend and when she got home discovered that the rear door had been kicked in and property removed. The investigating officer contacted CSI that will respond and process the scene. Report number 110540803
10:00 pm Santos/Velasco Robbery
Officers Holmes and Lundy were sent to investigate a robbery case. The victim told the investigating officers that he was waiting for the bus, when three suspects approached him and put a dark object to his head. The victim told the officers he believed it was a gun. The suspects told the victim not to move or they would blow hoist head away. The victim complied and the suspects took all his property and fled. The victim told the investigating officers that he would not be able to identify the suspect. the victim was not injured.
