Arrests:

4:13 am     Seneca/Cayuga                   Drug Arrest
Officers Morse and Seavey were on patrol when they noticed a car that had expired registration. The officers effected a traffic stop to issue the driver a ticket. The officers asked the driver for his license and registration. The driver told the officers that his license was suspended. The officers confirmed the suspension and arrested the driver. The officers had to tow the car and while inventorying the car they found methamphetamines. The driver, the sole occupant, was charged with the drugs. The driver was booked at Ingleside Station for the drugs and the traffic violations. Report number 110459022

3:08 pm     Geneva/Prague          Drug Arrest
Sgt Riskin and officer McCall were on assignment conducting traffic enforcement. The officers observed a vehicle that was moving faster than the traffic and tagged it with the radar. The vehicle was travelling 47 MPH in a 35 MPH zone. The officers stopped the car and began to approach the driver. The driver hit the gas in an attempt to evade the officers. The officers ran back to their car and broadcast the information while trying to catch up to the vehicle. The officers saw the vehicle make a right turn now driving even faster. As the officers made the same turn, they saw that the driver of the car had lost control and was now on foot fleeing this scene as well. The officers followed the suspect in their patrol car as he was fleeing. The suspect ran for three blocks, finally realizing that he was not going to outrun the police car, and gave up. The suspect was arrested and handcuffed. The suspect is on probation and has a search condition. The officers searched the car and located a baseball size rock of crack cocaine along with packaging materials. The suspect was charged with transporting/Possession for sales of a controlled substance in addition to all of the traffic violations he committed and booked at Ingleside station. 1:10 am     3300 blk Mission        Attempted Robbery
Officers Baldovino and Otaguro were sent to investigate an attempted robbery incident. The officer located the victim and conducted an investigation. The victim told the officers that he and his sister were walking along, when 3 unknown suspects approached him and demanded his cell phone. The victim told the suspects that he did not have a cell phone (which he does not own one). The suspects immediately began to punch the victim all over his face and body. After the suspects beat the victim up, they left empty handed. The victim did not require medical attention. Report number 110461469

11:00 am   200 blk Blythdale       Burglary
Officers Trail, Peregoy and Hart were sent to investigate a burglary case. The officers located and spoke to the victim who told them she came home and discovered the front door open and the apartment had been ransacked.  The victim told the officers that this was the sixth time that she has been a victim of a burglary. The victim informed the officers that she had not touched anything at all so as not to contaminate the crime scene. The officers contacted CSI and they will respond to process the scene. The case has been assigned to the Ingleside S.I.T. Report number 110460289

7:00 pm     Towerside/Rey           Aggravated Assault
Officers Chan and Guzman were sent to investigate an assault case. The officers located the victim and were told that an unknown suspect had assaulted him. The victim told the officers that a car drove past him and suddenly stopped. The driver of the car stepped out and yells at the victim accusing him of throwing a rock at his car. The suspect then grabs a hammer and attacks the victim. The suspect swung the hammer twice at the victim with the victim blocking both attempts with his arm. The suspect in this case got back into the car and fled the scene. The officers spoke to a witness that told the officers the same basic story. The victim was transported to the hospital with minor, non life threatening injuries. The case was then passed to Inspector Hutching for follow up. Report number 110460950
