Arrests:

11:00am             500 Blk Campbell Ave                Burglary
Officers Pai and Araujo responded to a report of a burglary.  A witness saw a suspect attempting to get into a window on a nearby residence before fleeing down the street.  Another witness pointed out a house where they believed the suspect ran into.  The owner of the residence allowed officers inside his home.  The officers located the suspect hiding in an upstairs bathroom.  The suspect was taken into custody.  Report 110448150

2:35pm               1700 Blk Sunnydale Ave             Firearm
Officers Hauscarriague and Almaguer were on patrol when they spotted a suspect that they know from prior police contact.  A records check of the suspect revealed that he is currently on felony probation with a warrantless search condition.  The officers made contact with the suspect and conducted a search of his residence.  The suspect was in possession of a firearm, large amounts of suspected marijuana and indicia indicating possession of narcotics for sale.  The suspect was taken into custody.  Report 110448865 ***BEST ARREST OF THE DAY!!***

PSA Heckenberg-Tognozzi took a report regarding a robbery.  The victim said he was taking out the trash when he was approached by two suspects.  The suspects held onto his arms and tried to take his keys.  One of the suspects finally grabbed his wallet and fled.  Report 110447754

8:00am               100 Blk Florentine St                 Robbery
Officer LaRocca responded to a report of a robbery.  Three victims were in their garage when two suspects confronted them.  The suspects demanded to know where a safe was kept, and pulled a gun on them.  The suspects stole one of the victim’s wallets and cell phone before fleeing.  Report 110447798

PSA Heckenberg-Tognozzi took a report regarding fraudulent use of a debit card.  The victim stated he read his most current bank statement and realized that there were over $1800.00 in charges that he did not authorize.  Report 110445924         

3:30pm               Unit Blk Brookdale Ave              Burglary
Officers Obot and Duncan responded to a report of a burglary.  The victim returned home to find her residence had been ransacked.  The front window was broken and there were several items missing from inside.  Report 110449352

9:00pm               Mission & Cesar Chavez St       Robbery
PSA Heckenberg-Tognozzi took a report regarding a robbery.  The victim stated she made arrangements to meet with a suspect she met on Craigslist to buy a phone.  The victim was approached by the suspect and she gave him money for the phone.  The suspect then reached into the victims pocket and forcibly took out money.  The suspect also grabbed another phone the victim had on her.  The suspect fled.  Report 110445413

9:45pm                Mission & Ney St                         Battery
Officers Park and Hernandez responded to a report of a battery.  The victim was extremely intoxicated and smelled of alcohol on his breath and clothing.  The victim said he went drinking with a known suspect.  An argument ensued between the victim and the suspect.  The suspect grabbed the victims arm and twisted it until he fell to the ground.  The victims shoulder was dislocated.  The suspect fled.  Report 110449976

Officers Shugars and Barajas responded to a report of a burglary.  A suspect entered the premise and stole money from a safe.  The safe’s locking mechanism was broken, allowing easy access.  Report 110450224
