0:01am Oliver/Mission Permit Violation
Officers McCall and Lozano were on patrol when they observed an orange taxicab driving on Oliver Street which did not have a San Francisco taxi permit affixed to the exterior of the cab. They observed the cab pick up a fare and they affected a traffic stop. When Officer McCall approached the driver’s side of the vehicle he noticed the taxi meter was on. The driver of the cab was advised of the reason for the stop and admitted to not having a permit to pick up fares in San Francisco. The driver was cited for the violation. Report 110396913
7:00pm 1700 Blk Sunnydale Warrant Arrest
Officers Trail and Peregoy were dispatched to the call of an assault. When they arrived on scene they noticed a male and a female in a heated argument. The officers separated the parties and explained to the officers they were arguing over a cellular phone. A computer check revealed that one of the parties had an outstanding warrant. The individuals stopped arguing, the cellular phone was returned to the woman and the male was taken into custody without incident. Report 110396333
7:42pm 800 Blk Moscow Robbery
Officers Park and Chang were dispatched to a robbery call. Multiple Ingleside units responded to the area. The victims were located and they advised that some males were being chased down near the soccer field. The officers searched the area and were flagged down by a few men who shouted, “There they go.” The officers stopped their vehicle in front of the suspects, exited their vehicles and proned them out on the sidewalk. Officer Khan advised he was standing with various victims and the officers were advised that the suspects who were detained were the ones who had robbed them. One of the victims advised that the heavier male had a gun. One of the victim’s wallet and the other victim’s cellular phone were retrieved from the suspect’s persons. The officers mirandized the subjects and they did not wish to speak to them. The victims and suspects were all transported to Ingleside police station for further investigation.
One of the victims advised the officers that he was walking on Moscow when a white vehicle approached them and two males were walking in their direction. One of the males stared at him, lifted his hoodie and exposed a handgun he was holding. The individual told one of the victims, “Give me your wallet.” He handed him his wallet and could see that the other male was taking a cellular phone from the other victim. The victims were then confronted by some males who had exited the white vehicle and they began to run. They began yelling for help and a few other males who were in the area came to assist them. As they chased the suspects one of them threw to the ground what appeared to be a wallet which was retrieved by the victim. The males who had exited the vehicle got back in the vehicle and left the scene. The victims identified both subjects who were in custody as the ones who had robbed them. The suspects were interviewed by the Special Investigative Team at Ingleside station and booked into custody. “BEST ARREST OF THE DAY”

9:42pm 4700 Blk Mission Permit Violation
Officers McCall, Benavidez and Lozano were on patrol when they observed a taxicab driving on Mission Street which did not have a San Francisco taxi permit affixed to the exterior of the cab. They observed the cab pick up a fare and affected a traffic stop. Officer Lozano approached the driver’s side of the vehicle and explained why she had stopped him. The driver of the cab admitted to not having a permit to pick up fares in San Francisco. The driver was cited for the violation. Report 110396628

SFCCPD Officer Sanchez encountered a male who advised he was walking on Geneva when he was pushed from behind and thrown to the ground. He said an unknown male held him down and took his wallet and other items from his right front pocket. The victim was unable to provide any further information and would not be able to identify the individual if he saw him again. He was not injured and refused medical assistance. Report 110394519
9:00am 100 Blk Appleton False Registration
Lt. Vintero was on patrol when he observed a vehicle which displayed March 2011 (expired) registration. A record check of the vehicle returned with registration expired as of March 2010. He towed the vehicle for registration expired over six months and booked the license plate into evidence. Report 110394177
9:45am 1200 Blk Russia Theft
Victim came to Ingleside station to report a theft. He advised that one of him roommates who recently moved out had removed items which were his without his permission. Victim did not actually see the roommate take the items but believed it was him and wanted to document the incident to proceed with a civil matter. Report 110396593
10:38am Sunnydale/Rey Shots Fired
Officers Peregoy and Trail responded to a call of gunshots being fired. Dispatched advised that two males had picked up bullet casings and fled the area. They met with the caller who told them that she heard a gunshot and when she looked out the window saw a male standing on the corner. She said the suspect continued to shoot in a south direction then ran down Sunnydale. She gave a description of the suspect and various Ingleside units responded and canvassed the area with negative results. Report 110394616
12:22pm 600 Blk Bosworth Theft
Officer Trujillo was dispatched to the call of a possible robbery. He arrived on scene and met with various witnesses who advised him that they were in the area when they observed the victim running after an unknown individual and shouting, “Call the police.” They gave a description of the suspect and believed they would be able to identify the individual. Officers responded to the area in search of the suspect. Officer Trujillo met with the victim who told him he was not injured and refused medical assistance. He told him that he was sitting down typing a text message when the suspect came up to him, grabbed his cell phone from his hand and ran down Bosworth. Victim stated that he followed the suspect and saw him board a vehicle which fled the scene. Officers were unable to locate the suspect or the suspect vehicle. Report 110395131
1:40pm 4600 Blk Mission Fraud
Victim came to Ingleside Police Station to report a fraud. She advised that when she called her bank to learn her balance she discovered various transactions she did not make. She told the banking officer that she did not authorize such transactions and they requested she file a police report for reimbursement. Victim was unable to provide any further information. 2:30pm Unit Blk Phelan Theft
SFCCPD Officer Burlyga was told by a victim who came into the police department that when he went to check out of the library that his wallet was missing from his pant pocket. He believed he lost the wallet but didn’t remember where. Report 110395799
2:33pm Unit Blk Phelan Theft
SFCCPD Officer Burlyga responded to the call of a theft. A worker in the store said that a woman entered the store and began wandering with two large bags. She said the woman continued walking down aisles and when confronted and asked if she needed help became very agitated. The worker then looked inside one of the bags and noticed various items inside which she believed the woman had no intention of paying for. She went to remove the items when the woman grabbed a handful of items and ran out of the store. The worker believed she could identify her if she saw her again. Report 110395426
9:00pm Alemany/Ellsworth Theft
Victim came to Ingleside station to report a theft from his vehicle. He said that he parked and secured his vehicle and when he returned found items missing from the glove compartment. Victim was unable to provide any further information. Report 110395749
11:40pm 4700 Blk Mission Battery
Officer Polovina responded to the call of a fight. They met with victim who had visible swelling to her left eye and appeared intoxicated. She said that a male had punched her and provided officers with a vague description of the suspect. Officers searched the area unsuccessfully for the gentleman. An ambulance was summoned for victim and she was medically treated at the scene. She said she began arguing with a friend and the argument became physical. She said she would be able to recognize him if she saw him again. An Emergency Protective Order was granted and she was provided with her copy. Report 110396935
