1:55pm Mission/Geneva Narcotics
Officer Rand was on patrol when he was flagged down by a MUNI bus driver regarding two males who had boarded the bus from the rear without paying their fare. The driver also informed the officer that he recognized the males as those who had vandalized his bus in the past. The officer boarded the bus and walked to the rear while he noticed one of the males place something on the floor near his foot. The officer located a black marker pen near the gentleman’s foot which is known to be used as a graffiti tool. The officer observed that one of the males had ink stains on his hands. Both males were ordered to exit the bus. Various other Ingleside units responded to assist Officer Rand. A search of one of the male’s backpacks located baggies containing green leafy matter. Through his training and experience the officer believed this to be possible marijuana. The gentleman stated that he did not possess a medical marijuana card. The men were cited for possession of graffiti tools, the narcotics offense and failure to pay the bus fare. Report 110378193
9:24pm Ocean/Howth Narcotics
SFCCPD Officer Burlyga was on patrol when he observed a vehicle with no rear license plate and a temporary registration sticker which was expired. He affected a traffic stop and asked the driver to produce his identification and vehicle registration. The driver grabbed his backpack and unzipped it to find his documentation. In plain view the officer observed a clear plastic bag filled with leafy green substance which he believed to be marijuana. The driver admitted to the officer that there was another backpack containing additional marijuana in the vehicle. The driver did not have a medical marijuana card and told the officer he believed it was legal to possess this amount of marijuana in San Francisco. An additional search revealed glass vials containing a dark liquid which the officer believed to be hashish oil and various paraphernalia. The driver was booked for the narcotics possession and the vehicle was towed for expired registration. Report 110376777 **BEST ARREST OF THE DAY**

00:19am 3300 Blk Mission Battery
Officers Lundy and Dilag were dispatched to a call of a fight. They located a gentleman with a large cut to the top of his head near Mission and 29th Streets. Officers summoned an ambulance to assist the man. They spoke with the brother of the injured man who was present who told them that they were eating at a restaurant when they began arguing with the workers there. He told the officers one of the employees had hit his brother with an object but was unable to identify the person. Other witnesses at the scene reiterated his story. The officers then responded to the store where the incident took place and spoke to the employees. They told them that the gentleman came into the establishment very intoxicated and were very rude. They began to be abusive to the cashier and were asked to leave. The men failed to leave as requested and when the cashier attempted to escort them out they began throwing punches at him. Other employees attempted to assist in having the men exit the establishment and they all began fighting. After various interviewing the officers determined the initial men they spoke to when they arrived were the primary aggressors and had started the fight. All parties refused to sign citizen’s arrests and wanted no further police action. Officers took photos of the scene and injuries to the parties and booked them into evidence. Report 110377026
8:00am 100 Blk Vienna Home Invasion
Officer Trujillo was dispatched to a possible home invasion. Various other Ingleside officers responded as well. The officers located three victims in a downstairs apartment. The victims spoke minimal English and a Cantonese interpreter was requested. Officer Trujillo observed the rear door to the apartment had been forced open. One of the victims was able to communicate and English and Officer Trujillo obtained suspect descriptions and radioed the information to dispatch. Officers canvassed the area for the suspects. There search of the area for additional witnesses and neighbors who might have seen something was to no avail. Officer Ng, a Cantonese speaker, arrived on scene and began interviewing the victims. All victims stated they were not injured and did not need medical assistance. One of the victims stated she was in her apartment when she heard loud noise from the upstairs unit. She then heard the rear door to her apartment being forced in. She said two males entered the apartment who she did not know. One of them was holding a hammer and told her he wasn’t going to hurt her and he just wanted money. One of the suspects walked into a bedroom and began throwing things around. The suspects continued asking for jewelry and wallets which might contain money. Another witness who had been in the bathroom said he exited the bathroom and was confronted by the suspects. He was asked for money and said he grabbed his pants and gave them what he had. Suspects also took credit cards, jewelry and a cellular phone and left the apartment. The victims stated they did not know the suspects but could possibly identify them if they saw them again. Officers interviewed the upstairs tenants who confirmed their front door had been forced in as well and various items taken. SFPD crime scene investigators responded to the scene and processed the area for any evidence. Report 110377468
6:00pm Unit Blk Phelan Vandalism
Victim came to Ingleside Police Station to report that he parked and secured his motorcycle and when he returned to it found his helmet missing, a rear tire punched and tears on the seat. He was unable to provide any further information. Report 110378870
6:30pm 300 Blk Hanover Vandalism
Victim came to Ingleside Police Station to report that she parked and secured her vehicle and when she returned to it found the passenger side “keyed.” She was unable to provide any further information. Report 110379038
9:30pm 200 Blk Cayuga Robbery
Officer Leong responded to a well being check. The caller stated that a friend of hers had been robbed at gunpoint. The officer learned that the victim was possibly at a park down the street. The officer located the victim who told him he was not injured and did not need medical assistance. The victim told the officer that he was walking on Mission Street when several males approached him and asked him to use his phone. The victim refused and one of the males pulled out a pistol, pointed it at victim’s head and said, “Gimme your money.” Victim was afraid and took his money out of his pocket and handed it to the suspect. Suspect then struck him twice in the head with the pistol. Two other suspects then ran toward him and hit him in the head as well. Victim said he ran from the scene and the males ran in an opposite direction. Officers canvassed the area for any signs of the suspect but were unsuccessful. It was uncertain if victim would be able to identify the suspects. Report 110379442
11:23pm 2200 Blk Bayshore Att. Homicide
Officers Lozano and Jones were dispatched to the call of a possible shooting victim. While en route they were flagged down by a gentleman who escorted them to where the shooting victim was. Officers located the victim who was holding his abdomen and had blood stains all over his hands. Officers rendered aid and called for an ambulance. Various other Ingleside officers responded to assist. Victim was able to provide a vague description of the suspect and advised dispatch. Officers canvassed the area in search of the suspect. The victim as transported to the hospital by ambulance and escorted by officers as well. Officers located bullet casings on the southwest corner of Bayshore Boulevard. They were able to view video footage from a nearby store and ordered copies for their investigation. Various people in the area were interviewed but there was no one who stated they actually saw the incident occur. The victim was interviewed at the hospital by the inspector who was told that he was sitting at a MUNI bus shelter when two unknown suspects approached him, grabbed his wrist and without provocation began shooting at him. Victim said he ran away on the platform and crossed the street. It was uncertain whether he would be able to identify the suspects if he saw them again. Officers took pictures of the incident and booked all of the items into evidence. SFPD crime scene investigation unit responded and processed the scene. Report 110376937
