Officers Gomez and Barajas were on patrol when they saw a fist fight occurring. The officers stopped and contacted the involved parties. The victim stated he was walking home with his family approaching the front door of his residence when he saw the suspect peeing on his front porch. The victim yelled at the suspect, who became angry. A physical altercation ensued, and a second suspect got involved. The victim wanted to press charges against the suspects. Report 110368990
10:49am 400 Blk Raymond Ave Burglary
Officer Ocreto responded to a report of a burglary. The victim had her cell phone taken from inside the room where she works. The suspect was overheard bragging about stealing the phone to others by a witness. The suspect was therefore identified. The officer later contacted the suspect and took him into custody. 5:36pm Santos St/Brookdale Ave Robbery
Officers Hart, Johnson and Duffin were on duty when they were issued a teletype regarding a suspect wanted for a robbery. The suspect was known to the officer from prior police contact. While on patrol, the officers spotted the suspect playing basketball. The officers contacted the suspect and took him into custody. Report 110348710 ***BEST ARREST OF THE DAY***
6:51pm Unit Blk Norton St Robbery
Officers Hauscarriague, Almaguer and McMilton responded to the residence of a known suspect. The suspect was on probation and was wanted for a robbery incident. The officers made contact with the suspect and took him into custody. Report 110300021

Officer Hom responded to the a report of an arson. A suspect had set fire to a garbage can in a school courtyard, which caused damage to the building. Report 110368912

Officer Morgante responded to a report of vandalism to a vehicle. The victim said over night the window on his vehicle was smashed, but nothing disturbed or taken from inside. Report 110366897

Officer Pai responded to a report of a fraudulent use of credit cards. The victim stated she discovered that there were several unauthorized charges on her credit card statements. Report 110360918
9:00am 200 Blk Whitney St Vandalism
A victim reported that she left her vehicle parked and unattended. Upon her return, she discovered that there were several key marks on both the driver and passenger side of the vehicle. Report 116055860
9:45am Unit Blk Naylor St Theft
PSA Heckenberg-Tognozzi took a report regarding a theft from a vehicle. The victim said that someone had entered his vehicle and removed his car stereo. This also caused damage to his dash board. Report 110367265
1:30pm 100 Blk Tiffany Ave False Checks
Sgt. Miller responded to a report a false checks being used. The reportee was alerted to a suspect passing bad checks at other store locations. The reportee realized she had taken a check from the same suspect earlier that day. The check was later confirmed to be fraudulent, plus the suspect used a false ID. Report 110366461

Officer Lee took a report regarding false personation. The victim stated that she received a notice that part of her tax refund was being deducted for charges she owes to the DMV. A suspect had purchased a vehicle using the victim’s information and did not pay the registration. Report 110364283
9:16pm Unit Blk Lisbon St Robbery
Officers Anderson and Brown responded to a report of a robbery. The victim was talking on his cell phone when he was approached by two suspects. One suspect grabbed the victim and shoved him up against a fence. The other suspect punched the victim in the face. The suspects brought the victim down to the ground and punched and hit him repeatedly. He felts the suspects going through his pockets. The victim was able to bite one of the suspects and then threw his food at them. The victim was able to flee. Report 110368752

Officers Otaguro and Baldovino responded to a report of a theft from a vehicle. A witness heard glass break. When he looked outside, he saw a suspect standing next to a vehicle, which had a smashed window. The witness confronted the suspect who fled. The officers contacted the owner of the vehicle who stated that his GPS was missing from inside. Report 110368796
