Arrests:

3:34pm    1900 Blk Sunnydale Ave             Warrant Arrest
Officers Hauscarriague and Almaguer were on patrol when they recognized a suspect that they were familiar with from prior police contact.  The officers had knowledge that the suspect had several outstanding warrants.  The officers made contact with the suspect and confirmed the warrants.  The suspect was taken into custody.  Report 100243653

4:00pm     Unit Blk Phelan Ave                                 Theft
SFCCPD Officer Gaytan responded to a report of a verbal argument.  The officer contacted the victim who stated that she witnessed the suspect lurking around tables in the library.  The suspect then walked over to the table where the laptop was and picked it up.  The suspect attempted to flee with the laptop but the victim confronted her.  The victim was able to get his laptop back from the suspect.  The suspect was located and positively identified by the victim.  The suspect was taken into custody.  Report 110361706

5:35pm     Sunnydale/Santos Ave           Stay Away Order
Officers Dudley and Antonian were on patrol when they recognized a suspect who was known to them as a documented gang member from previous police contact.  The officers also knew that the suspect was part of a civil gang injunction.  The officers made contact with the suspect and took him into custody.  Report 110361869

6:38pm     200 Blk Oxford St                     Stolen Property
Officers Hurwitz and Daggett were on patrol when they spotted a suspicious vehicle with a suspect inside known to them from prior police contact.  The officers contacted the suspect and a second suspect that was the passenger in the vehicle.  Further investigation revealed that the passenger was on probation.  Both suspects were in possession of stolen property and narcotics.  They were both taken into custody.  Report 110362328 ***BEST ARREST OF THE DAY***

10:45am    5400 Blk Mission St              Terrorist Threats
PSA Heckenberg-Tognozzi took a report of terrorist threats.  The victim stated that he had been helping out the suspect by giving him money over the past three months.  The victim stopped giving the suspect money so the suspect became angry.  The suspect threatened to kill the victim if the victim did not give him any more money.  The victim fears the suspect because he believes the suspect carries a large knife.  Report 110360479

11:55am    500 Arlington St                                  Robbery
Officer Preston responded to a report of a robbery.  The victim was approached by four suspects who forcibly made him walk several blocks before they pushed him to the ground.  The suspects kicked him several times before taking cash and BART tickets from his backpack.  The suspects fled.  Report 110360805

12:30pm    Unit Blk Phelan Ave                                Theft
SFCCPD Officer Boyko took a report of a theft from a building.  The victim stated he decided to take a break from studying and left his backpack at the table.  When he returned, his backpack was gone.  Report 110360811

2:53pm      5800 Blk Mission St                               Battery
Officer Smethurst responded to a report of an assault.  The victim stated that she was about to pump gas when the suspect approached and her cussed at her, saying she was waiting to pump gas.  The victim told the suspect that she had already paid for the gas.  The suspect grabbed the gas nozzle and attempted to yank it out of the victim’s hands.  The gas attendant came outside and asked who paid for the gas.  The victim told him she paid for the gas so the attendant took the nozzle and handed it back to the victim.  The suspect then fled in a red Chevy vehicle.  Report 110358543

Officers Ferronato and Benavidez responded to a report of a burglary.  The victim returned to his apartment and found his front door slightly ajar and items missing from inside.  Report 110359682

9:24pm     Mission/Trumbull St                            Robbery
Officers Gabriel and Apodaca responded to a report of a robbery.  The victim was on her cell phone when the suspect suddenly grabbed her cell phone out of her hand.  The victim was also holding her wallet in her hands, which the suspect also grabbed.  The suspect fled.  Report 110362607
