4:06pm Mansell/Visitacion Robbery
Officers Tam and Padilla responded to a robbery which had occurred on a MUNI bus. They located a victim who was able to provide suspect(s) description and Officer Tam radioed in the description to dispatch. Officers Hurwitz and Daggett arrived to assist and were able to locate additional victims to the robbery. Officer Padilla was then approached by another male who claimed to also have been robbed on the bus. The individual was in the company of two other males who were standing behind him. Officer Hurwitz then advised Officer Tam that it was possible that the last three males that Officer Padilla came into contact with were possible suspects in the robbery. The initial victim advised the officers that his Ipod had been taken forcefully from his hands by a suspect who was not present at the scene. The victim said that the suspect then threw the Ipod to the individual who Officer Padilla was speaking with. The victim identified all three individuals who Officer Padilla was speaking with as those who were involved in taking his Ipod. The victim said that after his Ipod was taken from him he was thrown to the ground. He stated that various individuals on the bus attempted to assist him but were also assaulted. All three suspects were advised of their Miranda rights and Officer Tam spoke with one of the suspects. The suspect denied any involvement and later recanted his statement when he was informed that there was a possible MUNI video which had recorded the incident. The suspect then stated a friend of his took the Ipod forcefully from the victim and then passed it to him and he passed it to others. He denied any further involvement. Two other possible suspects were interviewed by the officers who denied being involved in the robbery but admitted to being on the bus. Various witnesses were interviewed who stated that they attempted to assist someone who was being robbed on the bus and one of the witnesses was also punched in the face. Items were also taken from her person. One particular victim also identified one of the suspects as the one who had assaulted her. The victim identified another suspect as the one who had assisted in the taking of his Ipod. All victims refused medical assistance and the two identified suspects were booked accordingly. 4:57pm Phelan/ Ocean Warrant Arrest
Officer Burlyga with the City College Police Department was on routine patrol when he observed a grey vehicle with no front plate driving behind him. The officer changed lanes until the driver of the other vehicle proceeded to pass him. The officer then noticed that the vehicle was also missing a rear license plate. A traffic stop was affected by the officer and he removed the driver from the vehicle. A record check of the driver revealed he was driving on a suspended license. The driver explained that the vehicle belonged to a friend of his and that he had borrowed the vehicle. An attempt to locate the alleged friend was unsuccessful. Officer Flood then responded to assist Officer Burlyga. Officer Flood approached the vehicle which was occupied by another passenger. Officer Flood had the passenger exit the vehicle and a record check revealed he had an outstanding warrant. An additional record check (VIN) of the vehicle revealed the vehicle to be stolen. Both suspects were booked at Ingleside Police Station and the vehicle was released to its proper owner at the scene. Report 110267041

8:57am 4300 Blk Mission Threats
Officer Campion-Healy responded on a call of a missing person. After taking the report an additional call was dispatched to the same address. Complainant explained that his son had possibly run away with a girl friend of his and a relative of the girl called his home and told him that there was going to be trouble if complainant didn’t produce the girl. The caller, who complainant does not know and had no description of said additional things to the complainant who felt threatened by the caller’s statements. Report 110294129
9:00am Unit Blk Garrison Att. Burglary
Officers Martinez and LaRocca responded to a call of an attempted burglary. Complainant advised that she left and secured her residence and when she returned found damage to the door frame. She said no entry was made and there was nothing else damaged. She was unable to provide any suspect information and there were no witnesses. Report 110295224
9:20am Cortland/Elsie Robbery
Officers Sanchez and Curry responded to a call of a robbery. The victim advised that she was walking on Cortland Avenue and pushing a stroller while talking on her cellular phone. She said that an unknown suspect came from behind and grabbed the cellular phone out of her hand. The suspect then ran on Elsie and boarded a vehicle which was parked nearby. She was unable to give a detailed description and only that the suspect wore a grey hoodie. Officer Curry was able to locate a witness who said he observed the suspect looking into his garage and walking on Cortland. He then heard a scream and saw that the victim was the one screaming. He observed the suspect run into a vehicle that was parked and was able to give a better description of the vehicle and the suspect. The officers broadcast a full description of the suspects and vehicle but their search for them was unsuccessful. There were no additional witnesses or surveillance cameras in the area. 12:00pm Unit Blk Phelan Theft
Officer Chang with the City College Police Department responded to a call of a theft. Victim advised that an unknown suspect had stolen his wallet in one of the buildings. Victim stated he locked up his belongings and went to a class and when he returned found someone had gained access to the locker and his wallet was missing. He was unable to provide the officer with any additional information and there were no witnesses. Report 110283172

Officer McGlaston responded to a call of a theft. Victim stated that he locked his items in one of the lockers before a class and when he returned noticed the locker had been pried open. He stated his cellular phone was taken. He was unable to provide the officer with any additional information and there were no witnesses. Report 110280526
2:00pm 100 Blk Delta Theft
Officers Ng and Tillan were on routine patrol when they were flagged down by victim who wanted to report a theft. Victim stated she was having issues with an individual who resides with her so she had not been staying at the home. When she returned on today’s date she noticed various items were missing and the home was filthy. The other individual who resides in the home was not present at the time to be interviewed. 7:23pm Unit Blk Norton Harr. Phone Calls
Victim responded to Ingleside Police Station to report harassing phone calls. She stated that she had been received phone calls from a blocked phone number that were of a sexually explicit nature. She was unable to provide further and wanted a report to work with her phone services provider in resolving the problem. Report 110295638

Victim came to Ingleside Police Station to report vandalism to her vehicle. She stated that she parked and secured her vehicle and when returned to it this morning noticed scratches all around it. She did not see anyone damage her vehicle and there were no witnesses. Report 110296335
