Arrests:

7:40am             5000 Blk Mission St            Warrant Arrest
Officers Trujillo and Najarro were dispatched to a call of a possible dispute.  The officers contacted the suspect and found his room in disarray, with obvious property damage and items strewn about as if being thrown.  A records check of the suspect revealed he had an outstanding warrant.  The owner of the property did not wish to press charges regarding the damage.  The officers arrested the suspect for his outstanding warrant.  Report 110303065

1:05pm            1500 Blk Geneva Ave                         DUI
Officers Goldsborough and Hornstein responded to a traffic accident involving several vehicles and multiple victims, including an injured child.  The officers noticed that one of the driver’s who was being treated by the medics had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath and other signs of being intoxicated.  The driver admitted to the officers that he had been drinking prior to driving.  The driver was arrested.  Report 110303968  ***BEST ARREST OF THE DAY***

4:33pm            Unit Blk Paulding St                      Dog bite
Officers Sugitan and Fung were flagged down by a victim who had been bitten on the leg by a dog.  The victim claimed she did not provoke the dog before it bit her.  The dog was on leash and was being walked by its owner.  The owner of the dog was cited for the dog bite.  Report 110304524

7:26pm            200 Blk Sunnydale Ave               Evading
Officers Dudley and Antonian were patrolling the Sunnydale area when they noticed a suspect in a vehicle that they from prior contacts as having a suspended license.  The officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle but it failed to yield.  The suspect committed several traffic violations, including running through stop signs at a high rate of speed with pedestrians in the area.  The suspect finally pulled over and the officers made contact.  The suspect was arrested on several charges.  Report 110305011

8:00pm           400 Blk Silver Ave                        Narcotics
Officers Almaguer and Hauscarriague were given an anonymous tip from a citizen that a man was selling methamphetamine.  The officers located the suspect driving and realized that he was known to them from prior contacts as having a suspended license.  The officers conducted a traffic stop and subsequently found suspected narcotics on the suspect’s person.  The suspect was arrested.  Report 110305102

7:50am          1900 Blk Alemany Blvd                     Threats
Officers Jones, Phillips and Elton responded to a call regarding threats.  The victim stated he was driving when a vehicle pulled up alongside him.  The suspect brandished a knife and threatened to kill the victim.  The officers located the suspect denied threatening the suspect with a knife.  The victim refused to press charges.  Report 110303015

8:05am          Unit Blk Norton St                           Robbery
Officers Pai and Araujo responded to a call regarding a robbery.  A suspect walked up to the victim and removed his wallet from his rear pant pocket.  The suspect then attempted to yank a cell phone out of the victim’s hands, which caused the cell phone to break. The suspect fled and flagged down a taxi.  Later contact with the taxi driver revealed that the driver felt the suspect was suspicious when he got into his taxi and refused to drive him anywhere. The suspect got out of the taxi and fled on foot.  The area was searched for the suspect with negative results.  Report 110303021

9:00am         600 Blk 27th St                 Theft, vehicle strip
Officer Naval was dispatched to a report of a theft from a vehicle.  The victim stated she returned to her vehicle and discovered that the air bag had been taken from the steering wheel.  There were no signs of forced entry on the vehicle and the vehicle was locked.  Report 110303811

9:15am         5500 Blk Mission St     Disturbing the peace
Officers Antonian and Dudley responded to a call of threats.  The victim stated the suspect he shares a wall with banged on the wall earlier in the day.  The victim confronted the suspect about banging on the wall.  The suspect yelled at the victim and told him that his kids and TV are too loud.  The victim tried to explain to the suspect that the kids were just playing.  The suspect shouted obscenities at the victim.  Later in the day, the suspect pounded on the victim’s door and held what appeared to be a knife in his hand. The victim did not open the door.  Report 110305293

PSA Flynn took a counter report regarding a theft from a vehicle.  The victim said the window on his vehicle was smashed and that several items were taken.  Report 110304728

1:00pm        Unit Blk Curtis St           Vandalism to vehicle
Officers Park and Leong responded to a report of vandalism.  The victim showed the officers her vehicle that had key marks on the hood and a flat tire.  Report 110304643

1:30pm        300 Blk Niagara St           Theft, from vehicle
PSA Heckenberg-Tognozzi took a counter report from a victim who stated that his vehicle had been broken into.  The victim said a window on his vehicle was smashed and several items were taken from the vehicle.  Report 110300986

1:50pm        Unit Blk Prague St                             Burglary
Officers Sugitan and Fung responded to a report of a burglary.  A witness saw a suspect in the area of a home with a duffle bag.  The witness noticed the bag contained a flat screen TV, and other electronics.  The witness confronted the suspect who in turn threatened the witness with a handgun.  The suspect fled the area.  The victim was contacted and confirmed that he was missing a TV and other electronics from his home matching those that the witness saw with the suspect.  Report 110304091

4:13pm        Sunnydale Ave/Santos St                 Robbery
Officers Obot and Johnson responded to a report of a robbery.  The victim was getting off the MUNI bus when the suspect grabbed her backpack.  The victim and suspect struggled over the backpack until the suspect was able to rip it out of the victim’s hands.  Report 110304499
