Arrests:

2:00 pm     100 blk Valdez            Threats
Officer Pederson was at the station when a subject came up to him and asked to file a report. The officer became suspicious of the circumstances and description from the subject. Officer Pederson told Sgt Riskin who then responded to the address in question with Officers Shugars and Kneuker. Sgt Riskin was able to piece together that the subject at the station was trying to make a report before the real victim spoke to the police. The, now, suspect was placed under arrest and walked into the station for booking. The suspect was booked on threats charges. Report number 110043459

2:42 pm     700 blk Mansell          Burglary
Officers Almaguer and Hauscarriague informed that a burglary suspect had been identified and his location in the Ingleside district. The suspect is connected to numerous burglaries in the district. The officers responded to the location and were met at the door by the suspect. The officers placed the suspect under arrest. The officer learned that the suspect was also under felony probation for theft! Report number 110034646

3:33 pm     Rey/Heritage               Warrant Arrest
Officer Uang was responding to a call of a person with a gun. The officer arrived and located two subjects that fit the description of the suspect. numerous Ingleside offices responded. Officer Uang detained the two subjects and discovered that they were not the ones with a gun. Officer Uang conducted a routine warrant check and found that one of the subjects had a $15,000 and $25,000 warrant. The subject was placed under arrest and booked at Ingleside station. 3:58 pm     Mission/Virginia           Shoplifting
Officer Murphy was walking the foot beat when he noticed a subject running from a store with a bright red jacket under his arm and a store employee chasing him. Officer Murphy gave chase and caught the subject a short distance from the store. The store employee told the officer that the subject made the alarms go off when he left the store. The Officer searched the subject and found other items (with tags still on) which the subject told the officer that he purchased at another store. The officer asked for assistance with his investigation, Officer Elton responded. The officers were able to get the subject on film at two different stores showing him stealing the item he claimed to have bought.  The officers also found that the subject had prior convictions for the same crime. The subject was transported to Ingleside station where officer Murphy cited him for theft. Report number 110042984

7:07 pm     London/Excelsior      Robbery/Force
Officer Gomez had just pulled a car over for a traffic violation when he was approached by the victim of a robbery. The victim pointed down the street to the suspect. The officer caught up to the suspect and asked him to stop. The suspect kept walking, and then decided to stop. The victim told the officer “that’s the guy”. The officer placed the suspect under arrest. The victim told the officers that there was another suspect and gave the description. Ingleside officers searched the area and located one subject that matched the description. The victim could not recognize 9the face so the subject was ID’d and released. Officer Gomez interviewed the suspect and learned that the subject officers had stopped was his accomplice (by name). A warrant will be issued for the suspect. The suspect was booked on robbery and conspiracy charges. Report number 110043506

7:51 pm     Mission/Theresa        Warrant Arrest
Officers Hauscarriague and Sgt Paine were working undercover when they observed a subject urinating on the street. The officers stopped and detained the subject. The officers ran a warrant check and discovered that the subject had a $10,000 drug warrant. The subject was placed under arrest and booked at Ingleside station for the warrant and for the original stop, urinating in public. Report number 110043556

10:00 pm 100 blk Persia             Theft/Building
Officers McMilton and Polovina were sent by Sgt Daniels to locate a suspect that was wanted for felony threats. Sgt Daniels sent these officers because they have personally dealt with her in the past and can recognize her. The officers set out on their quest. The officers were able to locate her a short time later and took her into custody with little event. Report number 110012830

2:00 am     1100 blk Naples          Assault
Officers Pai and Araujo were sent to investigate an assault incident. The victim told the officers that a known suspect came to the house drunk and under the influence of drugs. The victim told the officer that the suspect was asked to leave and refused. The suspect grabbed the victim by the throat as the victim grabbed the suspect by his clothing. The incident ended when the suspect let go of the victim. The suspect then fled the scene. Report number  

6:00 am     900 blk Dartmouth     Theft/Building
Officer Barcena was at the station when she was approached by the victim of a burglary by a known suspect.  The victim told the officer that a trusted person had gone into her home and taken several items. This case is still under investigation. Report number 110042235

9:45 am     5500 blk Mission        Violation of Court Order
Officer Pederson was flagged down and told about a violation of a court order. The victim told the officer that the known suspect had tried to get information on her whereabouts from a business. The staff at the business did not give the information and called the victim. This is in direct violation of the order that states the suspect cannot contact the victim through a third party, warrant to follow. Report number 110035434

10:00 am   5800 blk Mission        Burglary/Forced entry
Officers Deguzman and Pereira were sent to investigate a burglary incident. The officers spoke to the victim and learned that the victim left home and locked all the doors. The victim told the officers that when she returned she found the bathroom and bedroom window broken. The victim checked the rest of the house found other items missing. The loss was over $4,000 in cash and jewelry. CSI will respond to process the crime scene. Report number 110043330

10:23 am   50 Phelan                       Burglary
SFCCD PD officer Smith was sent to investigate a theft case. the victim told the officer that he placed his books on top of a trash bin while he spoke to a counselor. The victim told the officer that the books were there for 3 minutes. When the victim turned to pick up the books, they were gone. No suspects were observed. Report number 110042019

1:00 pm     5400 blk Mission        Pickpocket
Officer Tillan was sent to investigate a theft incident. The victim told the officer that he was heading up Mission street when the suspect approached him and said that she did not have any money and he could buy her a cup of coffee. The victim agreed and while in line to get the coffee the victim did not pay attention and was bumped by the suspect, who removed the victims’ money from his jacket pocket. The suspect then changed her mind and walked out. The suspect is described as a Hispanic female 5’5, 125, brown eyes and hair. She was wearing a grayish hooded sweat coat, blue jeans and brow cowboy boots. The loss was $50. Report number 110042354

1:00 pm     400 blk Bosworth          Fraud       
Police services aide Heckenberg-Tognozzi prepared a report regarding a fraud case. The victim told the PSA that she had reported a car break in where her credit card was stolen at the beginning of the year. The victim said that she received a call from her bank telling her that someone had tried to add themselves to her account in order to make purchases. Since the card was already reported stolen the request was denied and the victim notified. Report number 110042263

1:00 pm     Dolores/27th St.           Burglary/Safe
Officer Gomez was sent to investigate a burglary of a safe. The victim told the officer that his wife called him to tell him that she discovered that property in the safe was missing. The point of entry to the home was the backyard door. The victim told the officer that the suspects went upstairs and removed jewelry. The victim told the officer that gold Mexican coins were also taken. The total loss is in excess $138,000. CSI will be responding to process the scene. Report number 110043017

Officer Hornstein was sent to investigate a commercial burglary incident. the victim told the officer one of the employees told the victim that there was $372 missing. The victim then checked the entire day of surveillance film and discovered that an unknown suspect seized an opportunity when employees stepped away from the cash register and took the money then fled . The suspect is described as a Hispanic male 20 to 25 years old. The suspect was last seen wearing a black jacket and gray beanie cap. Report number 110042893

Officers Sugitan and Fung were sent to investigate a harassing phone call incident. the victim told the officers that a known suspect has been calling during odd hours and harassing her. Report number 110042053

9:00 pm     600 blk Velasco         Burglary/Force
Officers Peregoy, Trail and Hart were sent to investigate a burglary with forced entry. The victim told the officer that he left home securing the doors and windows. When she returned he found the front security gate and front door had been damage. The victim told the officer that his stereo system had taken. There were no suspects seen. Report number 110045518

Officer Chew was sent to investigate a battery case. The victim told the officer that a friend of hers asked her to go shoplifting with her. When the victim refused the known suspect scratched her on the face. The victim walked away from the suspect and called the police to make this report. Report number 110045267
