Arrests:

1:48 am     Mission/30th                Court order Violation
Officers Khan and Henry-Garcia were sent to investigate a possible court order violation. The officers arrived and located the victim. The victim told the officers that a known suspect was in violation of the order and further had physically grabbed her. The victim pointed down the street and identified the suspect. Officer Jones had responded to the scene as well. The officers were able to detain the suspect and verify that he was in fact in violation of the order. The suspect was arrested and booked at Ingleside station. Report number 110041390

9:20 am     4900 blk Mission        Theft/Prior conviction
Officers Marino and Morgante were sent to investigate a shoplifting case. The officers arrived and located the victim and suspect. The victim told the officers that he observed the suspect as he entered the store. The victim told the officers that he saw the suspect place various meats and coffee into his cart and then walk to an (what he thought was secluded) area where he placed the items into a jacket. The suspect then walked out of the store making no attempt to pay for the items. He was detained and the police called. The officers ran a computer check and discovered that the suspect had a prior conviction for theft which, in the State of California, makes this incident a felony. During the incident the suspect suffered a heart attack and is at SFGH and was still booked. Report number 110038773

10:26 am   200 blk Hahn              Warrant Arrest
Officers McMilton and Polovina were sent to investigate a suspicious person. The officers arrived and located caller and the person. The officer ran a computer check and discovered that the person had been reported missing and also had a NO Bail warrant. The person was taken into custody and booked. Report number 110038814

12:00 pm   Unit blk Seville           Threats/Arrest
Officers Altamirano and Thompson were sent to investigate a threats incident. Officers Murphy and Pederson also responded as back up. Officer Altamirano made contact with the victim and learned that a known suspect had been sending death threats to her. Dispatch had broadcast a description of the suspect and Officers Murphy and Pederson located a possible suspect. The victim showed the officer the text messages. The information was broadcast. The detained suspect had sent the same messages from his phone. The suspect was arrested and booked. Report number 110039408

3:30 pm     500 blk Portola           Battery/Cite
Sgt O’Brien is assigned to S.I.T (Station Investigation Team) unit at Ingleside Station.  Sgt O’Brien was following up on an older case and requested the assistance of Officers Frisk and Altamirano in locating a suspect that needed to be cited with a court date. Sgt O’Brien was relentless in her efforts that paid off with the suspect being located by the officers and cited to appear in court, thus the closure of another case! Report number 100994931

9:30 pm     Unit blk Baywood      Assault/Arrest
Officers Henry-Garcia and Anderson were sent to investigate a confrontation of some sort. The officers arrived and located the two parties involved. The officers were able to determine that the fight started over a phone call. The suspect got mad and physically pushed the victim. The suspect was placed under arrest and booked. 7:36 am     Oneida/San Jose       Arson
Officer Trujillo was sent to investigate arson on school property. The SFFD requested that the police respond for a report. I all suspicious incidents a report is generated. The SFFD told the officer that the fire was suspect. This report was generated and assigned to the Arson Inspector SFFD/SFPD. This case is still under investigation. Report number 110038450

8:20 am     100 blk Whitney         Theft /Building
Police Services Aide Heckenberg-Tognozzi prepared a report regarding a theft case. The victim responded to Ingleside Station and told the PSA that while at home, someone came into his room and removed $5 from a hidden spot. The victim believes the suspect is know and lives there. This case is under investigation. Report number 110038557

10: am       Unit blk Athens          Burglary/Residential
Officer Shugars and Kneuker were sent investigate a burglary. The officers spoke to the victim and learned that the victim left his home locked and secured with the alarm system activated. The victim said that when he returned home he found the kitchen window broken and property missing. The officers contacted CSI that will respond to process the scene. Report number 110039953

11:00 am   50 Phelan                    Theft/ Building
SFCCD PD Officers Smith and Hakes were sent to investigate a theft. The officers met with the victim that told them the following. The victim was speaking to an instructor but placed his backpack on the ground while doing so. While the victim was speaking to the person, he observed the suspect walk out with his backpack. The victim did not realize that it was his property until he was done with the conversation. The suspect had made his getaway! Ingleside Officers and CCSFD PD searched the surrounding areas to no avail. Report number 110032327

4:05 am     200 blk Precita          Theft/laptop
Officers Polovina and McMilton were sent to investigate a theft. The victim told the officers that after a presentation the victim stepped out with participants of the event. The victim told the officers that the room was empty, but that later when he returned another group of people had come in. That is when the victim noticed that his laptop was gone. There is a good ending. A short time later the victim found the laptop on the front steps in a plastic bag with a note! The note read "I am sorry for what I did"  the laptop was unharmed. No suspects were observed. Report number 110038488

5:03 pm     Montcalm/Wright       Battery
Officers Kneuker and Shugars were sent to investigate a battery incident. The officer spoke to the victim and learned that the victim was with a friend when all of the sudden a known person to her walked in and started beating her with fists. The two were separated and the suspect left the scene. Report number 110040182

7:00 pm     300 blk Staples          Battery
Police Services Aide Heckenberg-Tognozzi prepared a report regarding a battery incident. The victim responded to Ingleside Station and told the PSA that while at home his upstairs neighbor came down and asked him to lower his music. The victim told the suspect that he would lower his music when he would lower the Play Station volume in his unit. The volume was not turned down upstairs so the victim did not turn his down. The suspect came back down upset and when the victim opened the door the suspect pushed him with both hands. Report number 110038933

10:22 pm 200 blk Niagara          Robbery
Officers Dilag and Lundy were sent to investigate a robbery that had just occurred. The officers located the caller who found the victim lying on the ground. The witness told the officers that he was walking along when he noticed a man on the ground and two people running away from him. The witness told the officers that he called police once he learned that the man had been robbed. The victim told the officers that after a visit with his son two suspects confronted him outside and pushed him to the ground where they punched and kicked him. The victim told the officers that he lost consciousness. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment. The loss was $140, cell phone, wallet and ID cards. Report number 110040988

11:16 pm Ocean/San Jose        Robbery
Officers Shugars and Kneuker were on patrol and had just left the station when they were flagged down by two men. The men told the officers that they were the victim of a robbery. The, now, victims told the officers that they were walking to their car when they were surrounded by three suspects. The suspect demanded all their property or they would be beaten. The victims complied. The suspects then jumped into a waiting car and drove off and onto the freeway. The victims were not able to get a license plate number but told officers that they could recognize the suspects. Report number 110041077
