Arrests:

3:30 am     Delano/San Juan       Drug Arrest
Officer Anderson was sent to investigate a dispute between two individuals. Once at the location the officer spoke to both individuals and learned that this was a halfway house and drugs are not permitted. The officer spoke to the subject that had the drugs (Marijuana) and observed the drugs. The officer arrested and cited the subject at the scene. Report number 110034624             

8:42 am     3300 Blk Mission       Shoplifting
Officers Marino and Morgante were sent to investigate a shoplifting incident. The victim told the officers that he observed the suspect walk into the store and then to an isle of merchandise. The victim told the officers that he watched as the suspect removed items off the shelf and hid them under his clothing. The suspect then hurriedly walked past the registers and outside without paying. The victim detained the suspect and called the police. The officers then placed the suspect under arrest and because the suspect was eligible he was cited at the scene and given a court date. Report number 110035042

Police Services Aide Heckenberg-Tognozzi prepared a report regarding harassing phone calls. The victim told the PSA a known suspect has been calling her and her work place to obtain information and harass her. Report number 110035111

3:40 am     5000 blk Mission        Burglary
Officers Seavey and Padilla were sent to investigate a commercial burglary case. The officers were given a description of a black Chevy pickup truck with a camper shell that had been used in the burglary of a store. The officers started searching for possible suspects along the way. Once at the location the officers waited for the owner to arrive. The store had the frond bottom portion of the glass door broken and the register was removed. CSI was notified and will respond later in the day. There is video and will be retained as evidence. Officers Kneuker and Shugars were sent to investigate a burglary case. The victim told the officers that she left her home and locked it. When she returned she noticed that the front door had been kicked in. the victim told the officers that nothing had been taken. Report number 110036993

8:00 am     3400 blk Mission        Fraud
Sgt Miller was sent to investigate a fraud case. The victim told the Sgt that an unknown suspect has somehow stolen some of her checks and written them out to themselves for $2450 and cashed them. The case is still under investigation. Report number 110030149

9:00 am     800 blk Edinburgh     Threats
Officer Browne was sent to investigate a threats case. The victim told the officer that a known suspect has been threatening to harm her and family. Report number 110037402

9:45 am     600 blk Portola           Burglary
Officers Shugars and Kneuker were sent to investigate a burglary case. The victim told the officers that a known suspect had entered their home and removed property without permission. The suspect has a key that was never returned. CSI was notified and will process the scene. Report number 110037402

12:00 pm  200 blk Ocean            Fraud
Police Services Aide Zabarte prepared a report regarding a fraud case. The victim told the PSA that a former employee had cashed checks totaling over $4000. Report number 110035199

2:00 pm     Unit blk Addison        Shots fired
Officers Burke and Tam responded to a shot fired call. The victim told the officer that they heard gun shots in the area. The officers searched the area and located a shell casing and broken glass, but no witnesses or suspects. Report number 110036824

2:45 pm     Mission/Silver             Robbery
Police Services Aide Flynn prepared a report regarding a robbery case. the victim told the PSA that she was on her way home when she was grabbed from behind by a female suspect and assisted by a male suspect. The suspects grabbed her purse and fled. The victim was not injured. The loss was an ATM card. Report number 1100365573

Police Services Aide Zabarte prepared a report regarding a theft case. the victim told the PSA that she locked and parked her car in front of her home but forgot to remove everything from the inside of the car. When she came out she discovered that the rear 2window was broken and the property removed. Report number 110034931

6:25 pm     400 blk Gates             Vandalism
Officer Leong was sent to investigate a vandalism case. The victim told the officer that she was in her home when she heard a crash. When she went outside she discovered that her livingroom window had been broken. Report number 110037032

6:30 pm     300 blk Crescent        Robbery
Officer Leong was sent to investigate a robbery case. The victim told the officer that she was waiting for the bus and noticed a white car that kept circling with two suspects. The victim then told the officer that a suspect armed with a gun pointed it at her chest and demanded her property. The suspect then got back into the car and left the area. Report number 110037123

Officers Barcena and Rand were sent to investigate a theft from an auto. The victim told the officers that he parked and locked his car but left a sports bag with his belongings in the car. The victim told the officers that he discovered someone had smashed a window and removed his bag. Report number 110034834

8:30 pm     400 blk Cortland        Disturbing the Peace
Sgt Miller was sent to investigate a noise complaint. The victim told the Sgt that this was complaint regarding noise and pointed out that other officers had responded earlier. The complaint is under investigation. Report number 110036028

11:00 pm 5100 blk Diamond     Theft from Auto
Police Services Aide Zabarte prepared a report regarding a theft case. The victim told the PSA that someone broke a window on her car and removed her property. The victim thinks it could be someone known to her and gave the information to the PSA. Report number 110035638
