Arrests:

12:47 am       Unit blk Harrington            False Registration/Knife
Officers Leong and Conceicao were on patrol when they observed a vehicle had false registration tabs.  The officers conducted a traffic stop and met with the driver who stated he had no knowledge of the false registration.  A search of the driver incident to his arrest revealed that he had a butterfly knife in his possession. That type of knife is illegal to possess.  The suspect was cited and released.  Report number 101034227

02:34 pm       900 blk Geneva                   Trespassing
Officers Thompson and Altamirano responded to a trespassing call at a drug store.  A store employee told the officers that a man previously advised regarding criminal trespassing had entered the store and that he had been placed under arrest.  The officers were told that the suspect had been caught shoplifting on several previous occasions and therefore had been formally admonished not to return to the store.  The officers took over custody of the suspect who they later cited and released at Ingleside Station.  Report number 101032475

07:35 pm             5600 blk Diamond Heights               Narcotics Arrest
Officers Hurwitz, Burke, and Tam were working in plain clothes when they observed a subject known to them to have a history of narcotics sales and is on probation.  The officers contacted the subject outside of his home and searched him.  The officers found that the subject had a large amount of cash on him.  They conducted a search of his home and found that he and his roommate were in possession of methamphetamine and morphine for the purpose of sales.  The suspects mothers home, where he has exclusive use of one bedroom was also searched and additional narcotics were located.  The suspects were transported to Ingleside Station where they were booked.  Report number 101036712

12:06 pm       4600 blk Mission                 Robbery, Bank, w/Force
Officers Johnson and Bernard responded to a bank robbery.  A bank teller was approached by an African American male, 40-50 years old, 6’0, 175 lbs, wearing a black ball cap, black hooded sweatshirt, black or blue puffy coat, blue jeans and black shoes.  The suspect verbally told the teller that he was robbing her and presented a note.  The teller had been counting cash which she handed to the suspect.  Upon receiving the cash the suspect left the bank and fled in an unknown direction.  The suspect was not located.  Report number 101032005

05:45 pm       300 blk Crescent                Robbery, Comml, w/Gun
Officers Paras and Yuen responded to a robbery call in a corner store.  The officers met with a store clerk who told them that a Hispanic male, 28-32 years old, 5’7, 180 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black shoes, entered the store and looked through several refrigerated cases.  The suspect then approached the counter and simulated a handgun in his sweatshirt pocket.  The suspect then threatened the clerk and demanded the money.  The clerk complied and the suspect fled the store.  The suspect was not located.  Report number 101036063

Officers Hart and Trail with Sgt McDevitt responded to a battery call.  The officers met with the victim who stated that she had been struck by an unknown African American woman, 19-20 years old, 5’9, 140 lbs, wearing a white jacket and gray pants.  The suspect intervened in a discussion that the victim was having with her boyfriend and was told to mind her own business.  The suspect then struck the victim and ran away toward the public housing complex.  Report number 101036110
