The next Ingleside Community meeting will be held in the Ingleside Police Station Community room on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 7p.m.  There will be light refreshments available to those who come to the meeting.  All are welcome to attend.

12:00am     3400 Mission                          Aggravated Assault

Ingleside Officers Sherry and Dedet were dispatched to a report of an assault. When they arrived on scene they found the victim bleeding from a large laceration on the left side of his face. He told the officers he was walking down the sidewalk and passing a nearby bar when he was hit by an unknown object. He said he lost consciousness for a short time and woke up and called police. The officers summoned medical assistance and ambulance transported him to St. Luke’s Hospital for treatment. Report number: 170779230

A woman waiting for the bus was approached by an unknown man. She told Ingleside Officers Grabbe and Zandanel the suspect put his arm around her. The victim tried to break free, but the suspect kept his grip and then bit her on the neck. She finally broke free and was able to travel home before calling police. She declined medical attention. The officers traveled to the scene of the crime and located several businesses with video surveillance cameras. They requested the footage be sent to the Station Investigative Team.  Report number: 170780265
