The next Ingleside Community meeting will be held in the Ingleside Police Station Community room on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 7p.m.  There will be light refreshments available to those who come to the meeting.  All are welcome to attend.

8:35am       Unit Blk. Ney                                   Stolen Vehicle
A man called police to report a carjacking. Ingleside Officers Prieto and Aros responded and questioned the victim who told them he had backed his Toyota out of the garage and left the engine running while he went to get something out of the trunk. Just then he noticed an older Honda driving by, but didn’t pay any attention. However, he did pay attention when the Honda returned and a woman passenger got out the vehicle and into the passenger seat of his car. The thief then drove away eastbound on Ney street with the Honda following. Report number: 170776866

A market clerk noticed a woman come into the store and go directly to the liquor section and grab two alcoholic beverages. Then she walked to the counter and left them for her male companion asking him to pay. But instead of paying, they each grabbed one bottle, and both left the store. The woman store clerk told Ingleside Officers Marshall, Mendiola, Mroz, Smith, Labson, and Tupper that he went outside and demanded the couple return the beverages or pay for them. But they did neither and instead, punched and kicked her several times. At one point, during the attack, the male suspect placed a knife against the woman clerk’s neck. Both suspect’s fled after witnesses came to the clerk’s aid. Report number: 170778486

A woman woke up in the morning and went to the kitchen to make breakfast. It was then she noticed a bottle of ketchup missing from her fridge. She checked the rest of her home and discovered that the foot pedal for her sewing machine was also missing. She called police and Ingleside Officers Mullins and Siracusa responded. They checked the home and discovered the burglar had entered through a back window and escaped through the front door. Report number: 170780732
