The next Ingleside Community meeting will be held in the Ingleside Police Station Community room on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 7p.m.  There will be light refreshments available to those who come to the meeting.  All are welcome to attend.

Arrests:

5:26pm       Visitacion & Britton               Traffic Violation Arrest

A vehicle with expired registration caught the attention of Ingleside Officers Mroz and Espinoza. The officers stopped the vehicle which had two passengers in addition to the driver. Besides the expired tags, the driver also was operating the newer Buick without a valid operator’s license. The officers also found marijuana throughout the vehicle. But of greater importance was the fully loaded 45cal. magazine in the trunk of the car. The driver who had a felony robbery conviction from several years ago was arrested for the vehicle code violations, the marijuana, and being a convicted felon in possession of ammunition. His passengers were released at the scene. Report number: 170772331

A fight in an apartment spilled into the street where one of the combatants suffered serious injuries. Witnesses told Ingleside Officers Tom and Mullins that the altercation between two men, who had been drinking beers, quickly escalated from a “play wrestling” to pushing and shoving to the use of a knife by one of the combatants. After the fight, one of the combatants fled the scene. The other was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital for treatment. Report number: 170772416
