Arrests:

11:17am     100 Blk. Coleridge                            Assault
A parking control officer found himself facing an angry car owner while trying to tow a vehicle. The PCO told Ingleside Officers Suguitan and Van Zandt that he called a tow truck to take a vehicle that had been parked for several days on the 100 block of Coleridge. When the parking officer looked in the car he saw a man asleep in the back seat. The suspect woke up and said he would move the car but the car had a dead battery. With that failure, and the tow truck soon to arrive, the suspect became combative and rolled up his hands into a fist, and charged at the parking control officer. The officer, called for help, and pepper sprayed the suspect. The suspect backed up and then charged the PCO again and again, he was sprayed numerous times by the PCO. But it still didn’t stop the suspect who then attacked the PCO for the third time but this time, the PCO punched the suspect in the side of the face just before Officers Suguitan and Van Zandt showed up. A records check revealed the suspect was wanted on two active warrants out of Siskiyou County. He was taken to Ingleside Station and booked for the warrants and the assault. Report number: 170762467

11:57pm     Harrison & Precita                          Stolen Vehicle
Ingleside Officers Espinoza and Foxworth were on routine patrol when they spotted a vehicle idling in the intersection without its lights on. The car eventually started driving away and the officers ran the license plate which revealed the vehicle was reported stolen. Espinoza and Foxworth radioed for backup and stopped the stolen car at Precita and Harrison Streets. The driver was arrested at the scene. He had a suspended license and was on active probation out of San Mateo County. He was taken to Ingleside Station for booking. Report number: 170744421
