Arrests:5:35pm Geneva & Santos D.U.IA report of a traffic collision sent Ingleside Officers Watts, Mora, and Naser to investigate. Arriving, they found two cars with minor damage. The driver of the second vehicle said the driver of the first vehicle, traveling at a high rate of speed, hit him as he was making a left turn into a parking lot. The officers requested license, registration, and insurance from both drivers. The driver of the first car did not have a valid license and had several prior DUI’s. He was given a roadside sobriety test and failed. A breath alcohol test revealed a blood alcohol level almost twice as high as legal. He was transported to Mission Station where a blood sample was drawn by a department phlebotomist. After the test he was taken to the County Jail for booking. Report number: 17074900110:30pm Visitacion & Hahn Stolen VehicleA newer model Ford Focus caught the attention of Ingleside Officers Dominguez and Sherry as they drove behind the vehicle on Visitacion Avenue. The registration tabs on the Ford were expired. A check with dispatch also revealed the Ford was reported stolen by Richmond PD. The officers stopped the car and removed the 15year old driver and her 17 year old male passenger. The driver was arrested and transported to the Juvenile Justice Center. Bayshore RobberyA convenience store clerk noticed a woman customer grabbing bags of potato chips and placing it in a shopping bag. The customer punched the clerk in the face when the clerk attempted to prevent the customer from leaving the store without paying. She called police and Ingleside Officers Cortez and Hackard arrived soon thereafter. They called for medical assistance and medics treated the victim at the scene. Report number: 1707469387:55pm Geneva & London Robbery w/ForceA man riding a MUNI bus, looking at his cellphone, was suddenly approached by three other passengers. One of the passengers hit the victim’s hand which dislodged the cellphone that fell on the floor. The suspects picked up the cellphone and ran off the bus westbound on Geneva towards Mission Street.
