12:05 Unit Blk. Persia Aggravated Assault
A report of a shooting prompted dispatch to send Ingleside Officers
Paras, Leung, Dungca, and Calupad to the scene of the event. When they arrived,
witnesses told the officers they observed three men and a woman exit a black
Nissan Altima and walk up to two men near the intersection of Persia and
Mission. A heated argument ensued which
led to one of the four Altima passengers taking a handgun from his waistband.
Two victims, seeing the gun, started running east on Persia just as the suspect
fired two shots in their direction. The suspects then got back into the Altima
and fled eastbound on Mission. Report number: 170744998

A woman walking to her car noticed a man, in a parked vehicle
in front of her car, staring at her. Her boyfriend was already in the car when
she entered. The victim noticed the suspect drive away. She started the car and
was about to pull out when the suspect suddenly appeared at her window. He was
holding a bag in one hand and a handgun in the other. He demanded she and her
boyfriend put all their valuable property in the bag. The victims complied and
the suspect then ran away south on Gennessee. The loss was cell phones, cash,

Heights Aggravated Assault
A long bus trip almost cost three passengers their lives. They
told Ingleside Officers Rodriquez Tiffer, Prieto, Chang, and Sgt. Martin that they
befriended a group of three young men riding a MUNI bus from Van Ness and
Market toward Diamond Heights. The suspects and victims argued and fought on
the bus until the coach stopped near the Haas Playground. The victims got off
the bus and started walking toward the Playground just as one of the suspects
pulled a handgun from his waistband and fired four shots at them. The victims
ran and hid and fortunately none of them were hit by the gunfire. The suspects
ran to a Silver Toyota Camry which sped away. As this was going on, a MUNI bus
driver nearby, on the #35 Line heard the gunshots. A few seconds later, a
warning light on the dashboard activated and the driver pulled over. It turned
out that a bullet from the suspects had hit the radiator on the bus making it
inoperable. Several Ingleside units searched the area for the Camry and the
suspects, but were unable to find them. Report number: 170748401
