Arrests:

7:00am                1700 blk Sunnydale Ave                  Search Warrant

Several Ingleside sergeants and officers executed a search warrant for items stolen in prior burglaries.  The search proved to be successful and several stolen products were recovered.  A suspect was booked on numerous charges based on the findings.  Report 170566883

Serious Incidents:

4:00pm                Leland Ave/Alpha St                                 Assault

Officers Cortez-Cendejas and Wells responded to St. Luke’s Hospital to speak with a victim about an assault.  The victim was being treated for scratches to his arm, hands, and head.  The victim told the officers that he was walking home when he saw two suspects standing on the corner of Leland Ave and Alpha St.  The victim said he had seen the two in the area before so he said hello to them.  One of the suspects told the victim to stop acting like he belonged, and both started insulting him.  The victim continued to walk as the suspects followed and then began walking beside him.  The victim put his arm out to create some space between him and one of the suspects, which caused a physical altercation between the two.  The second suspect jumped in as the victim fell to the ground.  The victim got up and was thrown to the ground again by the second suspect.  The victim fled the scene.  Report 170611949

4:20pm                John F. Shelly Dr/Mansell St                    Robbery

Four victims called 911 to report they had been robbed.  They told Officer Wells and Cortez that they were hanging out in their car when another vehicle pulled up and parked just two spaces away.  A suspect exited and walked up to the victim’s car pointing a gun at one of the victim’s heads.  He demanded money from everyone in the car.  The victims handed over everything they had, including cash and cell phones.  The suspect told the victims to close their eyes and count to 40.  The suspects fled.  Report 170611610
