Arrests:

6:00pm       2000 Blk. San Jose                    D.U.I
A motorist flagged down Ingleside Sgt. Ly at 28th and Dolores saying a driver behind him was weaving all over the road. Sgt. Ly thanked the attentive motorist and started following the VW golf as it weaved southbound on Dolores Street. Sgt. Ly turned on his emergency lights and siren as the driver headed south on San Jose Avenue, but he still failed to yield. Finally, the suspect stopped his car near John Young Lane, which is the entrance to Ingleside Station. Ingleside Officers Dungca, Ahern, and Calupad joined Sgt. Ly at the scene and conducted a roadside sobriety test. He failed. A breath alcohol test revealed a blood alcohol level almost four times the legal maximum. The suspect was transported to the county jail for booking and his car was towed to impound. Report number: 170100011
