Arrests:

12:51pm     600 Blk. Foerster                          Narcotics
An older Infinity without license plates caught the attention of Ingleside Officers Archilla, Filamor, and Malatesta. Spotting that vehicle was the beginning of a saga of arrests for a variety of crimes. The officers noticed the VIN# on the dashboard was covered up, but the car was unlocked. The officers uncovered the VIN and discovered the vehicle had been reported stolen. Officer Archilla decided to visit a nearby home where several felony arrests have been made. Inside the home the officers talked to one woman who was on federal probation for fraud. Another resident was on probation for auto theft. Ingleside Officers Hopkins, Laokwansathitaya, Campos, Naser, Trail, and Cassinelli arrived to help with the search. Upstairs, the officers located three men, one of whom had a $100,000 bail warrant for auto theft out of South San Francisco along with a felony warrant from a San Francisco court. A search of the suspect’s room turned up 50 car keys along with baggies containing heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, and a small amount of cash. He was transported to Ingleside Station and booked for the warrants and the narcotics. The other residents of the home were released. The owner of the stolen Infinity was contacted and retrieved his vehicle. Report number: 170015410

Serious Incidents:

11:24am     Paulding & Arago                         Evading Arrest
Ingleside Officers Malatesta and Filamor were parked at an intersection enforcing stop sign compliance when they spotted a silver Ford Mustang, driven by a man they knew had a suspended license, blow through the stop sign. The officers turned on their forward facing lights and siren and attempted to pull the driver over. Instead of stopping, the suspect took off at a high rate of speed eastbound on Paulding, then southbound on San Jose, blowing through another stop sign and almost striking construction workers at Paulding and San Jose Avenue. At that point, in the interest of public safety, the officers terminated their pursuit. Report number: 170014967
