Arrests:
12:07am Burrows
& Gambier Marijuana for
Sale
Hunkering down in the driver’s seat is one of the sure ways
you can get the attention of passing police officers. That’s exactly what
happened while Ingleside Officers Hardy and Scott were on patrol. Hardy and
Scott noticed a black Infinity G37 parked at the curb on Burrows street with
white smoke emanating from the vehicle’s windows. As the officers drove slowly
past the car, the driver stared straight ahead while slowly sinking lower in
his seat. The officers turned around and then pulled up behind the Infinity
with their forward facing emergency lights and their spotlights on. The
officers approached the driver and told him it was violation of the law to sit
in a car and smoke marijuana. A check of the driver’s license revealed he was
on active probation, with a search provision, out of San Mateo County for a
marijuana for sale conviction. The officers found several large packets of
marijuana packaged for sale inside the vehicle. They also discovered more than
$6000 in cash in several compartments and the driver’s clothing. Two passengers
in the car were also questioned and searched. One, who said he was unemployed,
had about $2500 in cash in one of his pockets. He said his father, who lives in
another country, supports him by sending him cash every month. The driver was
arrested for possession for sale of narcotics and violating his probation.

Blk. Anderson Vehicle Burglary
A young man parked and locked his Honda Civic and walked to
a nearby basketball court. When he returned after playing a few games he found
an unknown woman sitting in the passenger seat of his car. He called police and
Ingleside Officers Archilla, Fillamor, and Malatesta arrived and placed the
suspect under arrest. The suspect told the officers she broke into the car
because she wanted to use the phone. She was arrested and transported to
Ingleside Station. Report number: 161056697

Blk. Alemany Warrant Arrest
Ingleside Officers Archilla, Fillamor, and Malatesta, were
back on patrol when they spotted an older Ford Mustang, without a front license
plate, parked at the Alemany Farmer’s Market. The area has been the site of
numerous arrests for stolen vehicles and other crimes. The officers observed a man
exit the driver’s side of the Mustang and go into the trunk, and then back to
the car. Officer Fillamor went up to the driver and requested to see his
license. He didn’t have one, but he did give the officer his name, which
revealed he was wanted on a $10,000 warrant from Alameda County. He was placed
under arrest. Inside the Mustang was methamphetamine and a pipe used to smoke
the substance. He was transported to Ingleside Station for booking. Report

Serious Incidents:
5:55am Crescent &
Andover Robbery
A woman waiting for the Muni at Crescent and Folsom noticed
two men loitering nearby. She told Ingleside Officers Morrow, Naval, Kerlegan,
and Valenzuela that she feared for her safety so she walked to the next bus
stop at Crescent and Andover Streets. The two men followed and pushed her
against a wall. One of the suspects pulled out a knife and said, “Give me all
your money”. The two then grabbed her purse from her shoulder and escaped
westbound on Crescent. Report number: 161055382
