Serious Incidents:

3:10am       Acton/Mission                         Robbery
A man walking home on Mission Street suddenly heard footsteps approaching from behind. Just as the victim turned to see who was running up from behind him, an unknown man grabbed his jacket and pulled him to the ground. The victim told Ingleside Officers Lozano and McCall the suspect then kicked and punched him in the face and legs before taking his jacket containing keys and cash and escaping in a Grey Nissan Sentra. The victim was transported to San Francisco General for treatment of his injuries. Report number: 160748502

10:40am     100 Blk Rousseau                   Hot Prowl Burglary
A man returned home from work, and was changing his clothes, when he noticed a cool breeze blowing through his home from the kitchen. He walked toward the kitchen and asked “who’s there?” He didn’t get an answer but he did hear a loud “thud” from the rear of the home near the back stairs and noticed an open kitchen window. Fearing for his safety, he called “911” and waited for police to arrive. Soon, thereafter, Ingleside officers Valenzuela-Rodriquez, Baldovino, Conceicao and Rodriquez arrived and searched the home for the suspects. They didn’t find the suspects but they did discover that the burglar had pried open and removed the screens on two back windows. The officers also discovered that the burglar had rummaged through items in the basement. The homeowner was unsure what, if anything, was taken by the suspect. Report number: 160749146

10:42am     3300 Blk Mission                    Robbery
Ingleside Officers Morgante and Kerlegan were dispatched to the Safeway store to investigate a robbery. When they arrived store security and the store manager told the officers that an unknown suspect had taken four turkey/ham party trays and walked out of the store without paying. A security officer confronted the suspect and asked him to return to the store to either pay for or return the party trays. But the suspect refused and instead took out a knife and threatened the security officer. The suspect then walked across the street and boarded a #49 Muni bus headed for downtown. Report number: 160749196

7:56pm       1400 Blk Sunnydale               Aggravated Assault
The sound of gunshots startled Ingleside Officers Scott and Hardy who were on duty at the SFPD substation on Sunnydale Avenue. The officers alerted dispatch and determined the gunshots appeared to come from the nearby market. Scott and Hardy, along with several other Ingleside officers traveled to the market and discovered several .25cal casings in front of the market. Inside, witnesses and employees told the officers that an unknown suspect fired several shots while standing outside the market. The suspect then walked into store and fired several more shots injuring a customer in the leg. The suspect then ran out of the market and escaped in a gray Ford Escape. An ambulance was called and the wounded victim was transported to San Francisco General for treatment. The officers also found bullet holes in two vehicles parked near the market. Department investigators have been assigned to the case and are reviewing witness statements as well as security camera video. Report number: 160750717
