Sunnydale Burglary
A woman leaving her home saw another woman pick up a 2x4
board, smash a window on victim’s car, then reach in and remove some contents.
The victim called police then got into her vehicle and chased the suspect a
couple of blocks where she confronted her outside the suspect’s home. Ingleside
Officers Mendiola and Ali arrived and placed the suspect under arrest for
vehicle burglary and vandalism before transporting her to Ingleside Station for

Street Hot Prowl Burglary
A homeowner went to work leaving his two elderly relatives at
home asleep. Their home was undergoing a substantial remodeling and the
homeowner left an upstairs window open to clear the dust from the building.
When he returned home the following morning he found his front door open and
numerous laptops, video game consoles, I-pads, I-pods, tablets, and several
items of jewelry missing from his bedroom. The two elderly residents, who were
home at the time of the burglary, told Ingleside Officer Curry they didn’t hear
any unusual noises during the previous evening. Officer Curry suspects the
burglar or burglars entered the home through the open upstairs window. Report
