and Narcotics
Ingleside officers are very aware of a revolving encampment of
“street people” hanging out in a grocery store parking lot. On this day, Ingleside
Officer Barranti and Sgt. Kumli spotted two men exchanging items behind an
electrical box. Sgt. Kumli and Barranti approached the men who immediately
tried to hide their contraband. A search of their clothing revealed syringes
and quantities of heroin and methamphetamine. The search also turned up several
stolen credit and debit cards, a stolen ATM card, a stolen driver’s license, a
forged check, and a counterfeit ten dollar bill. One of the suspects was
arrested for possession of stolen property as well as the narcotics offenses
and the other was cited for numerous narcotics violations. Report number:

Prowl Burglary
A woman called police after an ex-boyfriend attempted to kick
down her front door and enter her home. After a previous attempt weeks before,
she had strengthened the door frame which prevented his access. Ingleside Officers
Hoge and Wells arrived at the victim’s home and broadcast a description of the
suspect. A short time later Ingleside Officers Snadow and Wise spotted the
suspect on his motorcycle driving east on Geneva near the #280 overpass. The
officers activated their emergency lights and siren and attempted to stop the
suspect but, instead of yielding to the officers, he sped off through traffic
onto southbound #280. Within the hour, San Bruno police officers arrested the
man at his mother’s home. He was transported to Ingleside Station and booked
for attempted burglary, vandalism, violation of a restraining order, and
