Serious Incidents:
12:05am Maynard/Congdon Robbery
A man walking home on Maynard Street noticed a white SUV
following him at a slow pace. Suddenly two suspects exited the SUV, leaving a
third suspect behind the wheel, and started following the victim. One of the
two suspects approached the victim and demanded his backpack. The victim told
Ingleside Officers Toomey and George that instead of surrendering his property,
he decided to run away. That solution worked for a little bit until the victim
tripped and fell, spilling his backpack and cell phone on the ground. The
pursuing suspects picked up both items, got back into the SUV, and sped away.

11:44am 2500 Blk Alemany Hot Prowl Burglary
A man and woman knew something was wrong when they returned
home and saw four men running out of their house. The four suspects jumped into
two vehicles and sped away. The couple called police and Ingleside Officers
Vong, Ocreto, and Zasly responded. The officers conducted a safety search of
the home for other suspects, which there were none. They found the home
ransacked with a significant amount of cash missing. They also determined the
suspects kicked in a lower level door to gain entrance to the home. One
resident, who was home at the time, told the officers he heard a noise outside
his bedroom, opened the door, and found one of the suspects staring at him. The
suspect said, “Oops Sorry”, and fled out of the home. Report number: 160034458
7:06pm 300 Blk London Attempted Robbery
Three suspects approached another man walking down the street
and blurted, “I am going to kill you”. The victim told Ingleside Officers Alday,
Hoge, and Mbeleke Eteti that he didn’t know the suspects and kept walking.
Then, with one of the suspects holding a knife, the three suspects pushed the
victim to the ground and punched him in his face, head, and back. The victim
momentarily lost consciousness. The suspects then reached for the victim’s
wallet, but the victim refused to release his hold on the wallet. During the
struggle one of the suspects cut the victim on his hand. After the beating, and
without the wallet, the three escaped in unknown direction. The victim was
taken to San Francisco General Hospital and treated for a head injury and a
laceration to his hand. Report number: 160036119
