SFPD and San Francisco Planning are
working with the operators of the radio tower at the top of Bernal Hill to make
security (e.g. fencing upgrades and cameras) and landscaping improvements. This tower
hosts antennas for both commercial systems as well as those used for
communications by first responders (police and firefighters). The
improvements are currently underway by American Tower. The
lighting will also be adjusted and placed on a motion-sensor.
We would welcome your help in being an extra set
of eyes and ears to discourage vandalism or potential disruption to crucial
police and fire communications. If you see something suspicious, please call

4:10am Mission/Silver Robbery
A Muni passenger found that he got
off at the wrong stop at the wrong time. The man told Ingleside Officers
Villalozano and McCall that he was traveling toward his home in Daly City when
he mistakenly exited the bus at Silver and Mission. He realized his mistake and
thought a good idea to walk the remaining distance home. He didn’t get far. He
was assaulted by two suspects less than a block south of the bus stop. The
suspects kicked and hit him numerous times before removing $500 from his wallet

Blk Mission Robbery
A shopkeeper was assaulted and
robbed by a female suspect who stole six pairs of underwear. The victim told
Ingleside Officers Archilla and Smith that she saw the woman grab the underwear
from a display, place it in her purse, and walk out of the store. When the
shopkeeper attempted to stop the suspect from leaving, she punched the victim
in the face and scratched her with her fingernails. The suspect then escaped in
