The
City and County of San Francisco invites you to join a highly respected police
department and serve the citizens of one of the most beautiful cities in the
country. San Francisco Police Officers perform a wide variety of duties to
promote public safety and security, prevent crime and enforce the law. Police
officers perform a number of essential functions. For example, they patrol
districts to prevent and detect crime; respond to calls for assistance; conduct
criminal investigations; interact with the community to build cooperation and
support; pursue and arrest suspects; enforce traffic and parking laws; write
reports and maintain records; work with superiors, peers, and others as a team;
prepare for and participate in planned events; prepare for court and give

Arrests:
10:03pm 900
Blk Geneva Concealed
Weapon A
man standing on the sidewalk, with a skateboard, wearing a hoody and surgical
mask covering his face caught the attention of Ingleside Officers Der and
Hardy. The officers stopped to question the man because he matched the partial
description of a robbery suspect from an event last month on Precita Avenue.
The officers noticed that the bulky jacket the suspect was wearing had several
pockets filled with bulky items. A cursory search turned up a knife with a
seven inch blade. A warrant check revealed the man was on probation out of San
Mateo County for a burglary conviction. He was also wanted for a traffic
warrant out of San Francisco County. He was taken to Ingleside Station and
booked for the weapon and the outstanding warrant. Report number: 150781073
Serious Incidents:
8:48pm Parque/Carrizal Robbery
A report of a fight between a large group of men prompted
dispatch to send Ingleside Officers Snadow, Hardy, Der, and Wise to
investigate. Upon arrival, the officers found the victim suffering from facial
lacerations and abrasions. He told the officer he was walking home when he
noticed that he was being followed by a group of young men. He started running
away but didn’t get far because the group caught up and jumped on his back
causing him to fall to the ground. The suspects repeatedly struck him with
their fists and feet before removing a cell phone, identification, bank card,
and a significant amount of cash from his pockets. The suspects then fled in an
unknown direction. Report number: 150781001
