6:02pm 600 Blk Geneva Traffic Violation
Officers Khan and Gomez were on routine patrol when they came to a stop at a Red light at the intersection of Geneva and San Jose Avenue. While waiting at the intersection, they observed a driver of a 4 door Audi commit a traffic violation as it travelled in the opposite direction. The officers stopped the vehicle and advised the driver of the violation. The driver became irate and uncooperative with the officers and refused to follow their orders and began to go through the glove box and then the center console. For officer safety, the officers had the driver step out of the vehicle, until a citation was completed and was issued to the driver. The driver eventually calmed down and signed the citation and was released from the scene. Report Number 130100948.
