Arrests:

12:16am               College Ave                             Drunk Driving Arrest
Officers Mccall and Lozano were on duty in a patrol vehicle when they noticed a car driving well above the speed limit. Upon pulling the car over, Officer McCall smelled a strong odor of alcohol coming from the car. The suspect claimed to have had 5 beers, which confirmed his bloodshot and watery eyes. Refusing to take the Field Sobriety test, they proceeded to arrest him and he was then transported to Mission Station for either a breath test or blood draw.  He chose the breath test, which then concluded their results and transported him to county jail for driving under the influence of alcohol. 8:40pm                1000 blk Geneva                    Battery
Officers Morrow and Naval were dispatched to Geneva Ave regarding a fight. Upon arrival the scene, two other units had already responded to the scene. Officer Preston, one of the other officers that arrived, saw the 4 men fighting and ordered them to stop. In order to gain their compliance the officer used is OC spray on one of the men, causing all the men to stop and sit down waiting to be handcuffed. The others officers immediately started washing out the eyes of one of the suspects, who had been sprayed. One of the subjects claimed that he was sitting inside his house when he heard a loud noise coming from outside his home. He walked outside and saw someone, the suspect, behind his car hitting on the tail lamp. Then the subject’s son came out and tried to help get the man away from their car. The main refused to leave and that started a huge verbal argument. Upon hearing the commotion, the final subject came out of the house in order to see what was going on. The three subjects then grabbed the suspect and held him against a wall until the police arrived. The officers proceeded to separate all the members of the party and had medics treat their injuries. The suspect appeared to be under some kind of influence and was taken into custody. The suspect was taken to County Jail, while the rest were given follow up forms. Report Number 120954329

3:28pm       100 blk Alemany                    Stolen Property
Officer Hurwitz responded to a call regarding stolen property at the Alemany Flea Market. A victim claimed that one of the vendors had a pair of conga drums that belonged to him that were stolen during an auto boost. The victim described the drums in detail with scratches and all. He took the officer to a black bag that had the drums and he claimed that it was his bag with the drums inside of it. Upon going to talk with the seller, he told the officer that he bought them just a month earlier from a flea market in Oakland and paid $80-90 for them. When the officer opened the bag she noticed that they had the exact details that the victim claimed they would have. The seller agreed to give the drums back to their rightful owner and then both parties were dismissed. No arrest or citation was given. Report Number 120763346

7:25pm       Jarboe                                    Robbery
Officers Lockett and Kabanuck were dispatched to Bronte to investigate the report of a Robbery. Upon the officers arrival they met with the victim who said she was robbed at the intersection of Putnam and Jarboe. She claimed that she was going to her friend’s house when a black male wearing a black hoody over his head approached her with a handgun in his left hand. He pressed the gun to her stomach and said “give me everything you got”. The victim gave him her purse when the suspect stuck his hands into her pocket and took her phone as well. The victim then noticed there was another man standing next to him while the whole thing was happening. After robbing her they both ran and got into a car and fled southbound. Officers checked the area but found no results. Report Number 120954482
