Arrests:

9:45am       200 Blk Day                  Trespassing
Officer Morgante responded to assist a landlord regarding a trespasser.  The reportee told him that he had to evict a tenant who continues to break into the apartment and squat.  The landlord arrived on today and found the suspect’s personal items inside the front door, along with two suitcases.  The landlord said he has been locking the doors, but the suspect continues making entry through a broken window. 

Officers arrived and detained the suspect prior to Officer Morgante’s arrival.  A citizen’s arrest was signed and the suspect was cited and released for the trespass.  Report number 120719173

4:38pm       200 Blk Vienna             Burglary   
Officers Dilag and Khan were sent to investigate an individual throwing items and breaking windows.  They arrived and located an individual inside of the home that refused to open the door and said he was visiting a relative.  The suspect was unable to tell the officers who resided in the home.  Officer Khan searched the rear exterior of the home and located a damaged door which had been kicked in.  The officers spoke with several neighbors who confirmed they knew the owners of the home and had never seen the suspect.  The owner of the home was located and also confirmed that he did not know the suspect.  He said the damage to the door which had been kicked in was new.  The suspect was taken into custody and booked for the burglary at the instruction of Sgt. Inocencio.  Officers took pictures of the damage and the condition of the home which they booked into evidence.  Report number 120720415

3:06am       3100 Blk Mission          Aggravated Assault
Officers Anderson and Ferronato responded to the call of a fight and a person chasing another with a bottle.  They arrived on scene and located two victims who were being treated by the paramedics.  Both refused to be transported to the hospital and said they would follow up with their own doctors.

The victims told the officers they were walking down the street when they were confronted by a group of males who began chasing them and throwing bottles at them.  They ended up in an altercation with the males who repeatedly punched and kicked one of them.  The victims told the officers they would not be able to identify the suspects.  They provided a description of the suspects and officers canvassed the area for them to no avail.  Report number 120718692

1:00pm       Unit Blk Liebig             Vandalism
Officers Lustenberger and Shugars were dispatched to an auto boost.  They met with the victim who stated that he locked and secured his vehicle and was later told by a neighbor that a known suspect had smashed his windows with a hammer.  The victim returned to the vehicle and found various windows smashed, but that no entry had been made.  Officers took pictures of the damages as evidence.  They responded to the address of the known suspect but were unable to locate him.  Report number 120720205

5:47pm       Craut/Ney                     Att. Robbery
Officers Archilla and Yuen responded to assist the victim of an attempted robbery.  She told them that as she was walking down the street three female suspects surrounded her and preventing her from walking away.  The suspects then grabbed her purse, but the victim resisted and they were unable to take the purse from her.  The victim was then pushed against a vehicle and repeatedly punched by the suspects as they attempted to rummage through her purse.  The victim began screaming for help and a passerby came to her rescue.  All suspects fled the area down Ney.  The victim refused medical assistance and had no visible injuries.  She provided a description of the suspects but was unsure if she could recognize them.  Officers searched the area for the suspects but were unable to locate them.  Report number 120720512
