Arrests:

0:29am       3100 Blk Mission                    Narcotics
Officers Archilla and Morse were on patrol when they observed a male riding a bicycle on the sidewalk in violation of the traffic code.  They detained the individual.  A record check revealed the suspect had a warrantless search condition.  An arrest search located various plastic baggies containing a crystallize substance believed to be methamphetamine.  The suspect was transported to Ingleside station where a presumptive test was performed on the narcotics which returned positive for methamphetamine.  At the instruction of Sgt. Lozada, the suspect was booked for the narcotics.  The narcotics were hand delivered to the Narcotics Drop Box at the Hall of Justice.  Report Number 120341271

10:17am     Geneva/Mission                      Warrant
Officer Conceicao responded to assist the fire department on a call for service.  One of the firefighters said that a woman had thrown a cup of coffee at the fire truck.  They did not want any further police action, but wanted the suspect advised.  A record check revealed the suspect had outstanding warrants and she was transported to Ingleside station.  At the instruction of Sgt. Rainsford, she was booked into custody upon confirmation of the warrants.  Report Number 120327130

4:42am       Unit Blk College Terr             Burglary
Officers Hauscarriague and Baldovino were sent in search of an individual breaking into vehicles.  They arrived on scene and detained a male who matched the description of the suspect the reportee had provided.  The officers knew the suspect from prior police contacts.  A record check revealed he was on felony probation and an arrest search located various burglary tools on his person.  The officers also located several items believed to be stolen from various vehicles. 

The suspect was read his Miranda rights and agreed to speak with the officers.  He admitted to breaking into several vehicles and pointed out that the last vehicle he had broken into.  The officers observed the vehicle’s window smashed and that it had been rummaged through.  The owner of the vehicle was contacted and provided with follow up information.  At the instruction of Sgt. Miller, the suspect was booked at Ingleside station for the auto boost.  Report Number 120341566

5:00pm       1600 Blk Sunnydale               Warrant
Officer Trail and several other Ingleside officers were on patrol in the Sunnydale Housing Development when they were advised that a warrant had been issued for a known suspect.  They spotted the suspect and took him into custody without incident.  Report Number 100814721

8:00am       300 Blk Chenery                     Burglary
Sgt. Miller was dispatched to a report of burglary.  The victim advised that she left her bicycles in her garage area and noticed this morning that they were missing.  The victim was unsure if the garage door was locked and stated the bicycles were not secured to any object.  Sgt. Miller found no evidence of forced entry and did not contact SFPD’s Crime Scene Investigations Unit.  He provided the victim with follow up information.  The victim provided a picture of one of the bicycles which Sgt. Miler booked into evidence.  Report Number 120339806

9:10am       100 Blk Gambier                    Burglary
Officers Bernard responded to a burglary. The victim advised that her husband left and secured the home earlier that day.  She returned home and found the house had been rummaged through and several items missing.  She was unable to provide any further information and was provided with follow up information. The officers located damage to the front door/gate and determined the suspect entered and exited the area through the front of the home.  They were unable to locate any other sign of forced entry.  They took pictures of the damage and booked them at Ingleside station.  They contacted SFPD’s Crime Scene Investigations Unit who stated that they would be responding to process the scene.

The officers spoke with a neighbor who noted suspicious activity in the area.  He provided a description of a vehicle and two male suspects that were in the area.  Officers searched the area unsuccessfully for them.

A victim responded to Ingleside station and told PSA Zabarte that he was on his computer when he noticed a fraudulent charge on his bank account.  He contacted the bank who requested he file a police report.  He could provide no further information and was provided with identity theft and follow up information.  Report Number 120341958

5:00pm       300 Blk Faxon                        Fraud
A victim responded to Ingleside station and told PSA Zabarte that she was contacted by the IRS regarding someone using her identity to file income taxes.  The IRS agent requested she file a police report.  She could provide no further information and was provided with identity theft and follow up information.  Report Number 120341867

7:30pm       1400 Blk Church                    Att. Burglary
Officers Park and Chang were sent to investigate an attempted burglary.  The reportee advised that he left and secured the premises and when he returned found someone had attempted to pry the door open.  He said that no entry had been made and nothing was disturbed inside.  He was provided with follow up information.  The officers were told the lock had been replaced prior to their arrival and they therefore did not process the scene for any evidence.  Report Number 120342611

10:00pm     200 Blk 30th                           Burglary
Officer Morgante was dispatched to a burglary.  The victim advised that this morning he found the garage door open and a cable lock cut.  There were several bicycles missing as well as the cable locks they were secured to.  There was no other sign of forced entry into the premises and no witnesses.  The victim provided the officers with pictures of the bicycles and the damage to the garage door which they booked into evidence.  Due to lack of physical evidence, SFPD’s Crime Scene Investigations Unit was not notified.  Report Number 120341726

11:06pm     Diamond Hts/Gold Mine       Theft
Officers Anderson and Brown responded to a theft on a MUNI bus.  The victim advised that she was on her cellular phone and attempting to exit the bus when three males approached her.  One of the males grabbed her cell phone from her hand and all three males ran off of the bus.  The victim was not injured and refused medical assistance.  She said the incident happened very fast and she would not be able to identify any of the suspects.  She was provided with follow up information.  The officers contacted MUNI dispatch and ordered a copy of the video surveillance tape.  They searched the area unsuccessfully for the suspects.  Report Number 120344300

A victim responded to Ingleside station and told Officer Lee that she believes she left her vehicle unlocked and when she returned to it found the doors unlocked and several items missing. The officer could find no sign of forced entry into the vehicle and therefore did not process it for evidence.  The victim was provided with identity theft and follow up information.  Report Number 120341760

11:30pm     4900 Blk Mission                   Theft
Officers Carrasco and Dominguez were sent to a theft.  They were advised by the victim that he left his cellular phone in the store and when he returned it was missing.  The security personnel pulled a copy of the store video which showed several suspects leaving with the cellular phone.  The officers provided the victim with follow up information and booked the video into evidence.  Report Number 120344338
