5:58am 700 Blk Avalon Theft
Sgt. Miller responded to investigate a theft. A neighbor advised that he was looking through his window when he observed several males drive up to a construction site next door, load rebar on the truck and drive off. He provided a description of the truck and the suspects but was unsure if he could identify them. Sgt. Miller provided him with follow up information and searched the area unsuccessfully for the suspects. Report Number 120283554
8:15am 100 Blk Blythdale Burglary
Officers Trail and Hopkins responded to a burglary. They met with the victims who advised that they locked and secured the residence and when they returned found the front door open and a broken window in the rear. The officers searched the home and observed the broken window, along with a visible footprint near the window area. They determined the broken window to be the point of entry and the front door to be the point of exit. The victims stated that several items were missing. They were provided with follow up information and advised that SFPD’s Crime Scene Investigations Unit would be responding to process the scene. The officers took pictures of the scene which they booked into evidence at Ingleside station. Report Number 120284198
10:40am 100 Blk Lisbon Burglary
Officer Goldsborough responded to a hot prowl burglary. He met with one of the residents who said he was sure that when he left he closed the garage door. When he returned, he found the garage door halfway open and the home ransacked. He advised that several items were missing.
The officers then spoke with another resident who stated he was at home sleeping when the burglary occurred. He said he did not see or hear anything unusual. Officer Goldsborough discovered two of the doors downstairs had been kicked in and determined this to be the point of entry and exit for the suspect. He provided the victims with follow up information, and advised that SFPD’s Crime Scene Investigations Unit would be responding to process the scene. He took pictures of the home and the damaged doors and booked them into evidence at Ingleside station. Report Number 120284217
12:00pm 2300 Blk Diamond Fraud
While on duty at the Ingleside Police Station, PSA Cato was approached by a male who came to the station regarding a fraud. The victim claimed that his wallet went missing and shortly thereafter he received a letter from the public library saying that he owed a large amount of money for overdue fees. He advised he never checked out the items in question and they requested he file a police report. He was unable to provide any suspect information and was given follow up information. 2:22pm Burrows/Peru Robbery
Officer Goldsborough was dispatched to a robbery. The victim said she was walking her dog in the park when a male approached her, pointed a gun at her and told her to give him her Iphone. The victim refused, and the suspect fled into the park. The victim was not injured and refused medical assistance. She said she would be able to identify the suspect if she saw him again. She was provided with follow up information. Officers searched the area unsuccessfully for the suspect. Report Number 120284778
4:30pm 200 Blk Leland Theft
A victim responded to Ingleside station and told PSA Zabarte that he parked and secured his vehicle and when he returned found the windows smashed, the exterior vandalized and several items missing. He was unable to provide any suspect information and was provided with follow up forms. The victim did not bring the vehicle with him to the station because he said it was not drivable. 7:20pm 400 Blk Paris Graffiti
Officers Bernard and Morrow were sent to investigate a vandalism. The victims advised that they observed three individuals spray paint the side wall of a building and that one of them was their tenant. The officers made contact with the suspect tenant who said that a friend of his was with him when the friend spray painted the building, but that he had nothing to do with it. He denied any involvement in the graffiti and the officers admonished him. The suspect tenant agreed to wash off the graffiti which his friend spray painted. The reportees were provided with follow up information. Attempts to locate the owners/tenants of the damaged home were unsuccessful. Report Number 120271474
11:00pm Unit Blk Natick Trespass
Sgt. Miller was sent to the complaint of a trespasser. The complainant advised that he shares a common area with another tenant who he has been having problems with. There is a bathroom near this area that the complainant claims exclusive use of. He said that on today’s date, he noticed a small heater in the bathroom had been turned on and left running overnight. The complainant believed it was the tenant he has been having problems with, but he had no proof of this. Sgt. Miller provided him with follow up information. Report Number 120283714
