Arrests:

8:36pm       Bayshore/Visitacion      Warrant
Officers Almaguer and Lustenberger were on patrol when they observed a vehicle with expired registration.  They affected a traffic stop and were provided with the name of the driver verbally.  A record check revealed the woman had an outstanding warrant and she was transported to Ingleside station.  She was identified by SFPD’s Cal Photo system and booked into custody upon confirmation of the warrant.  Report Number 120250785

A victim responded to Ingleside station and told PSA Heckenberg that he received a letter from the IRS regarding someone using his social security number.  He advised that he was not responsible for the amount owed and they requested he file a police report.  He was provided with follow up and identity theft information.  Report Number 120249302

7:00am       Unit Blk Modoc            Theft
A victim responded to Ingleside station and told PSA Flynn that he left his watch in his bedroom and when he returned it was missing.  He did not know who took the watch and wanted the incident documented for insurance purposes.  He was provided with follow up information.  Report Number 120250735

9:50am       200 Blk Bradford          Burglary
Officers Thompson, Altamirano and several other Ingleside officers were dispatched to a possible burglary in progress.  Upon their arrival, they noticed damage to the front door and conducted a safety sweep to find the home empty.  The owner of the home was on scene and told them that he locked and secured the home and was later told by his wife the home had been broken into.  He said the damage to the front door was new and there was several items missing.  The officers found the home ransacked and could locate no other sign of forced entry.  The front door area was determined to be the point of entry and exit.

The officers contacted SFPD’s Crime Scene Investigations Unit who advised they would be responding to the scene.  They took pictures of the home which they booked into evidence at Ingleside station.  They provided the victim with follow up information and an additional loss form.  Report Number 120249982

10:04am     Alemany/Ellsworth       Shooting
Officer Conceicao was on patrol when she was flagged down by a woman who said she had been shot.  The officer immediately noticed the woman was bleeding from her left arm and summoned an ambulance to medically tend to her.  The officer noticed the rear window of the vehicle had been shattered.  The victim was able to tell the officer where the shooting had occurred, and the suspect’s first name.  The victim stated she had been arguing with a friend of the suspects when he shot her.  The victim advised that the suspect had also rammed her vehicle with his and provided a detailed description of the suspect and his vehicle.  The victim was transported to the hospital for further treatment. 

Several officers responded to the area where the shooting occurred to locate a possible crime scene.  They located shattered glass and sealed the area with tape.  SFPD’s Crime Scene Investigations Unit responded and processed the scene for evidence.  The officers took pictures of the scene and the victim’s injuries and booked all evidence at Ingleside station.  The victim was provided with follow up information and SFPD’s Gang Task Force, Sgt. Knoble, responded to the hospital and took over the investigation.  Report Number 120249142

5:00pm       300 Blk Monterey         Theft
Officers Leong and Castillo responded to investigate a burglary. They met with the victim who told them that she locked and secured her storage closet and when she returned found the lock missing but that no items had been taken.  She was provided with follow up information.  Report Number 120250882

11:00pm     1500 Blk Church           Vandalism
Officers Chew and Lim responded to a vandalism.  The owner of the building advised that he locked and secured the building and when he returned there was visible graffiti painted on the side.  The officers took pictures of the graffiti which they booked into evidence at Ingleside station.  The victim was unable to provide any further information and was provided with follow up information.  Report Number 120249346
