7:34pm 100 Blk Laura Weapons
Sgt. Lozada and Officers Gonzalez and Antonian responded to the call of a man with a gun. The officers arrived and detained all reportees at the scene. They spoke with the suspect who told them that he had argued with his neighbors and was upset. He said he went inside his house and brought out a rifle which he was holding upright. He said that he never pointed the rifle at anyone and understood that it was a stupid thing to do. The suspect gave the officers permission to search his residence and told them where he had placed the weapons. Inside the residence the officers located the rifle, handguns, and ammunition. Officer Park took photos of the items and the officers seized them as evidence. The suspect was provided with a property receipt for the items.
The victims were all interviewed by the officers and they reiterated what the suspect had said. Noone was injured and they requested no further police involvement. The suspect was transported to Ingleside station where a record check of the firearms revealed them as not registered to any specific person. Because the rifle and magazine it contained fell within the definition of an assault rifle, the suspect was booked at Ingleside station for the weapons charge. All evidence was booked at the station as well.

9:00am Unit Blk Marietta Harassing Calls
Officer Frisk was dispatched to a complaint of harassing phone calls. The tenants advised that a longtime friend who was addicted to drugs had been harassing them by consistently calling and asking for money. The individuals wanted no further police action but did want the officer to speak with the suspect. The officer responded to the home of the suspect and advised him not to call the victims because they had complained about the phone calls. The suspect said that he understood and would not call them anymore. The victims were provided with follow up information and told the suspect had been advised and would not be calling. Officer Frisk also provided them with restraining order information at their request. Report Number 120042877
6:05pm Athens/Amazon Robbery
Officers Park and Chang were sent to investigate a robbery. The suspect advised that he was walking on Athens Street when he was approached from behind. A suspect grabbed him while another suspect searched through his pockets. The suspects took several items from his person and then ran off towards Geneva Avenue. The victim said he was not injured and did not need medical assistance. He did not get a good look at the suspects and would not be able to identify them. The victim was provided with follow up information. The officers searched the area for the suspects to no avail. Report Number 120044005
6:30pm Whitney/Fairmount Vandalism
A victim responded to Ingleside station and told PSA Zabarte that she parked and secured her vehicle and when she returned found all sides of the vehicle with scratch marks. The victim did not see anyone damage the vehicle and stated there were no witnesses. She was provided with follow up information.

7:38pm 3300 Blk Mission Shoplifting
Officers Leong and Castillo were sent to a shoplifting call. The reportee advised that he observed the suspect enter the store, place several items inside his bag and exit the store without making any attempt to pay for the items. The reportee exited the store, detained the suspect and escorted him back inside the store. A record check of the suspect showed no active warrants. The manager of the store spoke with the police and advised he did not want the suspect arrested, but did want him warned and asked not to return to his store in the future. The officers did so and provided the suspect with a certificate of release. He was released at the scene and the manager was provided with follow up information. Report Number 120041948
8:00pm 300 Blk Cortland Burglary
Sgt. Miller responded to a burglary. He spoke with the owner of the premise who said he locked and secured the office and when he returned found the front door had been pried open and several items were missing. Sgt. Miller observed the damage to the door and determined this to be the area where the suspect entered the premise. He did not see any evidence for processing and therefore did not request that SFPD’s Crime Scene Investigation Unit respond. The owner stated he did not have any surveillance camera on the premises and Sgt. Miller searched for any cameras in the general area to no avail. The victim was provided with follow up information. Officer Curry responded to the scene and took pictures which he later booked into evidence at Ingleside station. Report Number 120040699
9:04pm 2800 Blk Diamond Robbery
Officer Kerlegan was dispatched to a robbery. The victim advised her that she was standing on Diamond Street holding her cellular phone when she noticed a male approach her and stand beside her. She hid the cell phone under her jacket and suddenly felt someone hit her in the back of the head. The male suspect then grabbed her cell phone, ripped it from her and ran off down the street. The victim was not injured and refused medical assistance. She was provided with follow up information. The officers searched the area for the suspect to no avail. The officers located several areas which had surveillance video of the street areas and they ordered any footage which may have captured the incident. Report Number 120044538
