Arrests:

8:30 am     500 blk Portola           Battery Arrest
Officer Marino was sent to investigate a battery incident. The victim told the officer that he was speaking to a friend when the suspect interrupted the conversation and started an argument with the friend. The victim interjected and the suspect turned his anger at him. The victim told the officer that the suspect then punched him in the face, and the fight was on! Two other witnesses separated the two. The suspect was located by the officer and arrested, then cited for the battery.  Report 110317624.

3:04 pm     Unit  blk Bradford      Warrant Arrest
Officers Altamarino and Thompson affected a traffic stop when they observed a male driving near Alabama and Ripley talking on his cellular phone.  A record check revealed the driver was unlicensed and had three outstanding warrants.  The suspect was taken into custody without incident.  Report 110324356.

6:25 pm     Moultrie/Tompkins    DV Arrest
Officers Castillo and Khan responded to a call of a domestic disturbance.  They spoke with victim who told them she had been arguing with a gentleman while they were driving in his vehicle.  She stated that the suspect grabbed her arms and yanked her out of the vehicle, causing her to fall to the ground.  She had no visible injuries and refused medical assistance.  Victim gave an address as to where the suspect might be and various officers responded to the address where they took him into custody and booked him at Ingleside Station.  Report 110325310.

3:15 am     300 blk Arleta             Carjacking
Officers Hermosura and Contreras responding to a call of a carjacking.  Victim advised that she parked her vehicle and was walking toward her home when a male approached her from the rear and asked for her money.  Victim told him she didn’t have any money and the suspect pushed her to the ground and took keys which victim had around her neck.  Suspect then entered her vehicle and drove off on Arleta.  Victim was not injured and refused medical assistance.  Report 110326023.

7:45 am     5400 blk Mission        Threats
Victim came to Ingleside Station to report that a known suspect entered a restaurant that he was eating at holding a metal pipe and said, “I heard you were talking bad about me, I am going to hurt somebody.”  Victim said he and his friends left the restaurant in fear they would be hurt.  Victim said he was acquainted with the suspect but they are not friends.  Report 110323245.

9:00 am     100 blk Moreland       Burglary
Officer Hom was dispatched to a call of a burglary.  Victim advised that she locked and secured her home and when she returned found a rear door to the home had been damaged, entry made and various items missing.  Victim pointed to an area where the suspect had left possible footprints.  Officer Hom took pictures of the scene and advised victim that our crime scene investigation team would be responding to process the home for any evidence.  Report 110325837.

10:15 am   Unit blk Phelan           Veh Vandalism
Officers Ngoi was flagged down by victim who stated the parked and secured his vehicle in one of the parking lots.  Victim returned and found one of the side view mirrors had been smashed.  No further information could be provided.  Report 110323784.

11:35 am   300 blk Naples           Fraud
Victim came to Ingleside Station to report that she was informed by her bank that various online purchased had been made by someone using her ATM card.  When victim advised the bank she did not authorize these transactions the bank requested she file a police report.  Victim was unable to provide any further information.  Report 110325417.

12:15 pm  Tiffany/Duncan           Veh Theft
Officer Frisk responded to a call of a vehicle theft.  Victim advised she parked and secured her vehicle and when she returned found several items missing.  Victim was unable to provide anything further.  Report 110321318.

1:15 pm     Unit blk Phelan           Theft
Officer Burlyga met with victim who told him she had been advised by her bank of charges on her ATM card which she did not authorize.  Victim was unable to provide further and requested a report as required by the bank.  Report 110301213.

6:25 pm     500 blk Schwerin       Veh Vandalism
Officers Apodaca and Gabriel responded to a call of a vandalism.  Victim advised he was driving his vehicle on Schwerin when he observe an unknown male throw an object toward his vehicle.  He turned and noticed the suspect laughing.  Victim exited the vehicle and noticed the item had dented his vehicle and the male had left the area.  He said he could not identify the suspect if he saw him again and could provide no further information.  Report 110324992.

9:00 pm     Unit blk Phelan           Theft
Officer Boyko met with victim who stated she left her gym bag unattended in a building and when she returned found it was missing.  The bag was located on another floor but several items were missing.  Victim did not see anyone take the bag and could provide no further information.  Report 110320683.

10:00 pm  5700 blk Mission        Agg. Assault
Officer Jones responded to a call of an assault.  Victim advised that a suspect who he is acquainted with and had an altercation with earlier in the week came into contact with him and a friend.  Suspect approached victim, said something to him and hit him in the head with a flashlight.  Victim had a laceration to his forehead and Officer Jones summoned and ambulance to treat him.  Officer Jones took pictures of the injuries and booked them into evidence.  He and several officers searched the area unsuccessfully for the suspect.  Report 110325542.
