04:43 pm 200 blk Leland Cocaine/Paraphernalia Offense
Officers Hurwitz and Daggett were in the area in response to an anonymous citizen complaint regarding narcotics trafficking when they observed a woman seated in the passenger seat of a vehicle with the windows down and the music playing loudly. The plain clothed officers contacted the woman and found that she is on probation with a search condition. The woman was found to have marijuana in her possession, but she was also in possession of a medical marijuana card. The male subject that she told the officers had drove her to the location exited a residence and approached the vehicle. The officers contacted him and he admitted to having a rock of cocaine on him. The officers took him into custody, seized the narcotics and paraphernalia used for ingesting the drug, and transported him to Ingleside Station. The officers released the woman at the scene. Officers Padilla and Ma responded to a shots fired call. The officers located shell casings in the roadway, but did not discover any property damage or injured individuals in the area. Report number 110129679
02:40 am Vienna/Brazil Aggravated Assault
Sgt Deshong and Sgt Daniele responded to a battery call. The victim was seated on his front stairs and had numerous facial injuries. The victim told the officers that he was beat up during an argument with a guest of one of his neighbors. The main suspect got into a verbal argument with a guest who was outside of the home in his vehicle and “laying on the horn”. The suspects’ friends exited the house and together punched and kicked the victim who finally got away and returned to his home to call for the police. The incident was witnessed by several other neighbors. Report number 110129764

Officers Campion-Healy and Frisk responded to a trespasser call. The officers met with the victims who stated that someone had entered their shared apartment through a ground level window. One of the victims awoke to noises and saw a man in the doorway to her bedroom. The victim screamed to her roommate and the man fled the home. The victims discovered that none of their belongings had been disturbed. The suspect was described as an African American male, 25-29 years old, 5’8, 175 lbs, wearing a black beanie with an orange design, dark colored long sleeved shirt, prescription eye glasses. Officer Morgante responded to a shooting into dwelling call. The victim told the officer that she heard shots fired during the night then noticed damage to her home in the morning. The officer found that several properties in the area had been damaged on the front of the homes and fences. Report number 110129673
05:00 pm 5500 blk Diamond Hgts Shooting into Dwelling
Officer Kabanuck was called to investigate damage to a home from a shooting incident. The officer located and seized a spent casing from the incident and documented the damage to the home. Report number 110129673
07:42 pm 200 blk Arlington Methamphetamine Offense
Officers Hurwitz, Daggett, Tam and Burke responded to a residence after receiving an anonymous compliant regarding suspicious activity in front of the home. The officers located three men who were loading a truck with furniture and other items. The officers knew two of the men from prior contacts. The officers exercised the probation search condition of one of the men and discovered methamphetamine on the other. The suspect with narcotics was taken into custody and booked at Ingleside Station. 07:46 pm Unit blk Oliver Attempted Robbery w/Force
PSA Flynn was contacted at Ingleside Station by a man who stated a group of people had attempted to rob him and injured him. The victim stated that he was driving in his vehicle when a car pulled up next to him in the street. The occupants of the vehicle were described at three Asian males, 26-27 years old and an Asian female. One of the males demanded that the victim give him money. The victim refused and the three male suspects beat him. The victim did not give the suspects any money. He suffered injuries to both eyes and his hand and forearm. The incident was reported over an hour after the incident. Report number 110131612
